The Creator

STUDY: #1049 -CHURCH IN THE HOUSES FROM: SEPTEMBER 17 @ 23, 2019

TOPIC: “The Creator” Isaiah 40:28 “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the CREATOR of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.” Look at what God has done with your life: In a determined time, He created you. That was the time in which He brought you to live on earth; you had parents, etc. God's reason for creating you was for you to learn, and fight to fulfill His good purpose. (Ephesians 1:4 "... as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him...") (1 Peter 1:18-20) God chose us. He chose us in the truth, in Him. All of God's purposes for your life are accomplished in the person and work of the Lord Jesus. This was planned before the foundation of the world, and the purpose is that we be holy (through Christ) and without blame before Him in love (through the Holy Spirit who guides us). We have achieved it in part. (1 John 3:2) When He manifests, we will be like Him! After the Lord calls you, He gives you the power to do the service you must do on earth. Your service must be perfect; without you stopping it or running away from it. That is your service on earth! What you saw or are seeing in your parents that was or is wrong (and the consequences of that evil); do not imitate it. He is the Creator who sought a dad and mom for you, who also looked for the place where you were to be born; so that you would learn and not imitate evil deeds on earth. Do not follow the steps of those who are not your Creator. Do the things that are typical of your Creator, live like your Creator!

I. YOU MUST STOP BEING UNCERTAIN AND DISTRUSTFUL:

A. It would be a cause for shame if in one there is distrust of God!

1. You converted to Christ and that means that: you have agreed with God, not with men on earth!

2. You say that you belong only to Him in a very special way.

3. Therefore, let us be able to turn to Him and silence THE HARSH VOICE OF DISBELIEF!

4. HE IS THE CREATOR OF ALL THINGS. THERE IS NO REASON TO FAINT IN FAITH!

5. Because He is the Creator of all things and does not faint or tire with fatigue (Vs. 28).

6. He is eternal. He does not know change or decay (loss of strength).

7. Since He is the Creator of all, He and only He, has the right and the power to rule everything!

8. By being unfathomable (which cannot be ascertained or understood) and because of His intelligence, there is no one who can foil His designs (intentions, purposes)!

9. But, if you depend only on yourself, then you break that bond with God and lose your way.

10. He does not faint or tire, we should not have any fear that His strength will end.

11. Your faith can faint and perhaps be collapsing. Trust Him alone!

B. (Ephesians 2:10) "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."

1. Being able to have salvation in Christ is because we are His workmanship.

2. "...we are his workmanship..." means that we are the work of God's hands, not something we made ourselves.

3. When you convert you are a born-again believer, like a masterpiece of God!

4. The masterpiece is nothing but a new creation through union with Christ. You are that: a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17)!

5. The reason God made you a new creation is found in this sentence: for good works!

6. YOU ARE SAVED TO DO GOOD WORKS!

7. Good works are not the root, but the fruit!

8. WE DO NOT WORK TO BE SAVED, BUT BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN SAVED!

9. God prepared these works beforehand, so that we could walk in them.

10. God has this wonderful plan for you!

11. BEFORE YOU CONVERTED, HE PREPARED A SPIRITUAL RACE FOR YOU.

12. You should find God’s good will for you and then obey it.

13. You don't have to make a plan for your life, but be meek and accept the plan that He has made for you.

14. By accepting God's plan for your life, you will be of greater blessing to others and you will receive the greatest reward for yourself.

15. (Genesis 1:27) God created man in His own image (like His figure), in the image of God He created him.

16. Man had to be a different creature from all that had been created until that moment.

17. Man would have flesh, and also spirit!

18. God Himself was the one in charge of creating man, He was pleased to express it (Vs. 26): "Let us make man ..." A unique creature, different from all the other creatures He had made!

19. The three people of the Trinity: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; consulted on this and agreed on it! "Let man rule, that he rules over all the earth, over creation."

20. Let us be like David, who knew God, his creator, very well. (Psalm 139:13-14 "For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”)

21. David marveled at God’s works, and that he had also been created by God. His soul knew it very well, so David praised Him! We can also understand this just as David did!

22. Can you say the following? “I understand and am clear that I was created by Him. That He has placed His Holy Spirit within me because of my repentance and that Jesus is my Savior, who has washed me with His precious blood. I have been made a new creature by God, created for good works in this wonderful land, which was also created by Him. I was created so that I may live, and be able to obey Him, and no longer live for my sin, but to fulfill His good purpose in me.” Amen.
