His Love Has Been Perfected in Us

TOPIC: "His Love Has Been Perfected in Us" 1 John 4:7-13 Beloved, we have to die to our demands, without ceasing to live. To not be able to love others and live absolutely for oneself, one has to be very ambitious! Are you one of those who demand attention, that lives always looking for others to give to YOU, that they love YOU, that they accept YOU, that they give YOU the best place, to be preferred and take pleasure in you being the only attraction, at all times? If you live that way you are wrong and you walk far away from what the Lord lived and taught his disciples! It is not the greatness that must be sought! A good example of this was when Jesus, our Master, said to John and James, who wanted first place among the twelve: “Can you drink the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with? They answered: We can.” (Mark 10:37-39) That was the Lord's response to their petition! He asked them if they could share His sufferings and His baptism, referring to His sacrifice and death! We don’t have to seek to be more than others to look over their shoulders and despise them, but to seek to love the brothers as much as Jesus did!

I. 1 Corinthians 6:7 Why not rather suffer the affront (injustice, insult, offense)?

A. Why don't you rather suffer being defrauded? It is something different from what you expect from others!

1. (1 John 4:7) "Everyone who loves has been born of God!"

2. Do you know what? "...and knows God."

3. (Vs. 12) "...and his love has been perfected in us." It has to be demonstrated with facts that His love has been perfected in one.

4. The love in one has to be perfected, bring it to improve, make it more perfect!

5. Because you love yourself too much, for such reason you are so demanding with others and feel hurt for everything, for anything!

6. We have to finish completing the love in our lives! Perfect it!

7. GIVING IT THE MAXIMUM DEGREE OF GOODNESS! GIVING LOVE EXCELLENCE!

8. Brother, LET US BE GOOD WITH THE BROTHERS, show the quality of love you have! Don't be so negative and don't be so willing to make a judgment according to your eye or your demands!

9. Let us bring love to the highest possible point of perfection.

10. LOVING IS THE RIGHT WAY YOU FULLY QUALIFY YOURSELF FOR SERVICE!

11. Service or work in a ministry is not for the years you have been in the church, nor is it required, nor is it because you deserve it, it is because you love! THE REQUIREMENT TO SERVE IS TO LOVE OTHERS!

12. You have to "fully complete" the love in you! COMPLETE IT!

13. It seems that you have been more occupied in gathering stars and seeking congratulations instead of tolerating reproaches, affronts, disappointments, dishonors and public shame. One has to love!

14. You cannot pretend to have WHAT YOU HAVE NOT EARNED!

15. Love must be totally completed, perfected in you! Have you done it?

16. If not, then you have to fix your life with the necessary things to improve "the love".

17. You have to get ready, organize your life on love, you will have to stop thinking so much about yourself, yourself!!!

18. (Vs. 7) He who loves is born of God. LOVE IS A DUTY THAT GOES WITH THE CHARACTER OF GOD!

19. John talks to the brothers about how they have to love each other. He does not refer to loving all the men on earth, but rather the love among those who have been born again. We love all men, but the love for those close to us IS WITH WARMTH!

20. (Vs. 8) "He who does not love has not known God..." "...because God is love." That is His nature.

21. The one who says "I can't cope with the brother", simple, IT IS BECAUSE HE DOES NOT LOVE!

22. (Vs. 9) God's love for us as sinners is so that we live through Him.

23. (Vs. 10) The love of God giving His Son was so that He would be the propitiation (what can satisfy, appease) for our sins.

24. (Vs. 11) The lesson to be learned from such love for us is that IF GOD HAS LOVED US SO, WE SHOULD ALSO LOVE ONE ANOTHER!

25. He has poured out His love, THEREFORE, WE SHOULD LOVE THOSE WHO ARE TOGETHER WITH US MEMBERS OF HIS BLESSED FAMILY!

26. (Vs. 12) God is not seen by anyone, but He has manifested Himself in the present time dwelling in us.

27. If we love each other, God remains in us and his love has been perfected in us.

28. “No one has ever seen God, but God the one and only, who is at the Father’s side, has made him known.” (John 1:18). In the Gospel of God, we see that the invisible God is made known to the world through the Lord Jesus.

29. Now Jesus is at the right hand of God and is manifested to the world THROUGH YOU!

30. When we love each other His love has been perfected in us!

31. THIS MEANS THAT THE LOVE OF GOD HAS ACHIEVED HIS GOAL!

32. Don't end up loving God's blessings, YOU BE THE CHANNEL SO THEY MAY FLOW TOWARDS OTHERS!

33. It is not your love to accumulate for yourself but FOR YOU TO POUR OUT FOR OTHERS!

34. (Vs. 13) When we love each other in this way, it proves that we remain in Him and He in us and that we are partakers of His Spirit.

35. Brother, make sure love is perfected in your life! Amen.
