"God Has Everything Ordered" (Genesis 25:27-34) Esau was from the world, he liked the sport skilled in hunting, chasing animals. Hunting is the activity where animals are captured in the wild, in pursuit. Hunting is everything that is done before and after the death of the animal. Death is essential for hunting to exist. Jacob was a man of the world above: he was not made with ambition of worldly greatness, he was still, enemy of the fight, and his place was in the tents, the delights of solitude, thinking well and the withdrawal of all the purported pleasure of sport, spectacle. He was a shepherd, a healthy, quiet trade of grazing sheep.

I. Isaac loved Esau, he was active.

A. He knew how to please his father.

1. He got that hunt that Isaac liked so much.

2. Rebekah had the prophecy of God, which gave preference to Jacob; and because of that, she preferred him.

3. This birthright was a spiritual privilege because of the blessing that comes with the promise to which it was linked (birthright – the promises (father of Israel).

4. He wanted the best gifts than the fame of being the best hunter.

5. It was a tough contract.

6. In life God has everything ordered.

7. God knows what everyone is going to do when they are here on earth.

8. The words that proved Esau: Sell me your birthright on this day.

9. It was the day that Esau would speak of what was in him, Jacob waited for the moment where Esau would be who he was.

10. He made sure that Esau's oath remained firm: Swear it to me on this day.

11. God knew of this day the passing of the birthright.

12. And the older one would serve the younger one.

13. Satisfying the profane appetite (it is not sacred, did not show respect for the sacred, total carnal) and fornicatory (wrong act before the eyes of God).

14. The character of Esau (Hebrews 12:16-17): see that no one is a fornicator, or layman, like Esau, who for a single meal sold his birthright, our problem is more: (24) Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant and the sprinkled blood that speaks better than Abel's.

15. It shows (Esau's character) that God was absolutely right when He chose Jacob instead of Esau to carry the birthright, even though Jacob was the youngest.

16. Although Esau's character was not the basis for God's election (He chose Jacob and not Esau before he was born) (23) Esau's character showed the wisdom of God's election. (God knows very well the one who ultimately chooses.)

17. See if God knew what Esau was going to be.

18. And he sold Jacob his birthright: what, then, will the birthright serve me?

19. Jacob had his stew, and he wants it.

20. For the pleasures of the senses Esau is carried away and loses everything, it is the ruin of thousands.

21. If it was so much hunger, he would have been able to get another meal cheaper than the one that cost him the birthright.

22. I am about to die, that was his character: what, then, will the birthright serve me?

23. Rebekah was not a bad mother and Isaac was not poor, he had servants and many cattle.

24. That's what Esau was like.

25. Repentance was then hidden from his eyes.

26. He ate and drank and got up and left.

27. After pleasing the palate, he got up carefree and left, showing no regret.

28. In this way Esau despised his birthright, so was the character of Esau, and showed the wisdom of God's election by Jacob.

29. Why did Esau sell it?

30. History shows us that men prefer illusions to reality and choose the pleasures of sin "for a time" instead of choosing god's joy forever.

31. Men will read garbage instead of God's word and stick to a system of priorities that leaves God out of their lives.

32. Multitudes of men spend more time shaving than they spend on their souls; and a large crowd of women give more minutes for their makeup than for their spiritual life.

33. Men continue to sell their birthright for a stew.

34. He did not want to be the head of the tribe, Israel.

35. He rejected that he had would be included as an ancestor of the Messiah.

36. (Gen. 27:34) He was in pain, but his character dominated him, and he lost.

37. Character - A set of traits, qualities, or circumstances that indicate the nature of a thing or a person's way of thinking and acting, and by which it is distinguished from others. The nature of each person, which distinguishes him from others.
