The Good Soldier of Jesus - 2 Timothy 2:1-13 The universe is an infinite size. In all that infinity, God created you for Him. We are created (produced) from nothing. Our origin we must know that it was because of Adam. From the earth God created Adam. To this day, we were created by God: He weaves our veins, from Him comes life (Psalm 139:13-14) Because You formed my inmost being, You made me in my mother's womb; we are creation, God is worthy of being admired for who we are. The reason for your courageous life (courage, determination in risky or difficult situations) with the power that His grace provides.

I. Walk faithfully for the Lord.

A. The capacity you can have that comes from being united to Him.

1. God places everything in Him.

2. We are each what He has placed in Him, no more, no less in Him, through His grace.

3. You must be happy; you must not demand because if you live claiming God, you will never be able to fulfill the reason for your existence.

4. Your efforts must be in the grace of Christ.

5. All that is for you, flows from Jesus; for this reason, it comes from being united to Him; Your attitude in Him, meek, to claim from Jesus what does not flow from Him for you.

6. Timothy had to provide for the spiritual strengthening of "others" (2 Timothy 2:2).

7. Simple to strengthen the child, friend, father, mother, spouse.

8. He had thus learned every step that he was able to pass on to others; his character, his walk, his confidence, dedication.

9. It is to adorn with the power of Jesus all those who were around him.

10. Brethren (2 Timothy 2:3) one must suffer hardships (contrary or unfavorable situation, suffering); the matter in God is to do good and not to demand.

11. Don't ask so much for yourself; don't claim so much for yourself, even if you think you have the right; the complaint is manifested in protest, censure, discontent, or dissatisfaction with what you see and every grimace, moving the body is not what Paul taught Timothy. What Paul told him to teach in the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and that is that you have to strive.

12. The good soldier of Jesus suffers every moment, who does what Jesus wants one to be able to do.

13. (2 Timothy 2:4) This soldier lives actively, not only this, but he is in the hardest part of combat.

14. If we know what we are fighting for our lives, you would never be able to get entangled in the business of the world.

15. Entanglement (confuse, disturb, complicate) a good soldier does not allow the ordinary of life to become the main object of his life.

16. There are many things that can be the first thing in life, what it should always be is the service of Christ the main position.

17. The things of this life must remain at the bottom: what is intended, which is great in the Church, ministries, to be recognized as first, to flatter you.

18. When he humbles himself and is able to become an active soldier, it must be known that he is prepared to take orders from the Great.

19. The purpose of the active soldier is to please the one who knows how to give orders; for this reason, we understand that His orders are through the grace that has been through Christ Jesus.

20. The soldier's desire is to "please" the one who took him as a soldier.

21. It is not that the soldier knows what to do because he does not know the battles.

22. In battles there is much to abstain from, to suffer, in order to win, there is no time to "get entangled".

23. We have been enlisted by the Lord and our love for Him should lead us not to take the things of the world lightly.

24. (5) An athlete who competes in the games "as an athlete, in order to receive the reward must obey the rules of the game.

25. Thus in Christian service.

26. How many fall before reaching the finish line, disqualified for not having maintained "an obedience" resolute to the word of God!

27. Rules in Christian Service:

a. Living in self-control (1 Corinthians 9:27)

b. He must not fight with carnal weapons, but with spiritual weapons. (2 Corinthians 10:4)

c. It must be kept pure.

d. It should not be contentious, but patient.

28. (2 Timothy 2:6) The hard-working farmer must be the first to partake of the fruits.

29. According to all the principles of justice, he who works to produce "the fruits" has a priority right to participate in them.

30. The farmer must work before participating in the fruits.

31. The soldier must suffer; the athlete has to comply with the rules and the farmer has to work hard.
