He Who Believes

He Who Believes - John 3:15 God wants us to believe. God wants you to believe. That you consider, reflect with attention and carefully to form an opinion. To believe is to consider a thing as true or certain or to think that it exists, without having proof of its certainty or a direct knowledge of it. The verb to believe, to have faith, to think that it is possible. "To believe is to have faith in the truths revealed by God" and proposed by the church. (Which is presented to you to accept it, "put" for a forward end).

I. Everyone who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ receives eternal life as a free gift.

A. In believing in Him we began to see what with natural eyes we never could.

1. Step One: Believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, here begins your whole life.

2. You do not understand, some say: I have to go to a church? where it is thought that the husband and children have been lost.

3. The word is to start believing is a thing like true or sure.

4. That is, to begin (do what did not exist before, to begin) to believe, because in your life believing did not exist.

5. You believed in Jesus, eternal life came.

6. From now on it is believing for everything God wants, for your life.

7. Do not perish, but have eternal life, in what way? believing.

8. (John 5:24) The Lord Jesus began the words of this verse with the expression "Truly, verily," calling attention to the importance of what He was going to say.

9. Then He added the very personal announcement: "I tell you."

10. The Son of God speaks to us here in a very personal and intimate way.

11. "He who hears my word."

12. Hearing the Word of Jesus means not only hearing it, but also receiving it, "believing it and obeying it."

13. Many are those who hear the preaching of the gospel but do nothing about it.

14. The Lord is saying here that His teaching is to be accepted as divine and that He “must” be believed to be truly the Savior of the world.

15. "And believe the one who sent me."

16. It is a matter (matter, period, issue) of believing God.

17. It is to be believed that God "sent" the Lord Jesus to be our Savior.

18. He is to believe what God says about the Lord Jesus: namely, that He is the only Savior and that sins can only be taken away "through His work at Calvary."

19. "He has eternal life."

20. Notice that He does not say that he will have eternal life, but that he has it right now.

21. "Eternal life" is the life of the Lord Jesus Christ.

22. It is the life of the Savior that is imparted to those of us who believe in Him.

23. And he will not come to condemnation, and he will not come to judgment.

24. He who believes in the Lord Jesus is free from judgment because Christ has paid the penalty for his sin at Calvary.

25. "But it has passed from death to life."

26. He who has trusted in Christ has passed from one state of spiritual "death" to the other of spiritual "life."

27. (John 11:25) You don’t understand me Martha or you don't believe me.

28. Martha knew about the day of resurrection.

29. Jesus spoke to her: I am God and I have in My hands the power of the "resurrection" and of "life".

30. I can raise Lazarus right now from the dead and I'm going to do it.

31. "He who believes" in Me, even if he is dead, will live."

32. (John 12:46) Once again He referred to Himself as the light that had "come into the world" so that those who would "believe" in Him “would not remain in darkness."

33. But those who come to Christ in faith because they have believed no longer grope (doubtfully) for they have found the truth in Him.

34. (Romans 10:9) If our mouth says that Jesus is Lord, it is because it believes.

35. And believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, because you have believed in Him.

36. Joseph had to believe that the one in Mary's womb was the Messiah, as well John the Baptist and you as well, that He is the Messiah.

37. God raised Him from the dead as proof that Christ had completed the work necessary for our salvation and that God is satisfied with that work.

38. "To believe this with the 'heart' means to 'believe' with mental, emotional capacities.

39. Believing that God raised Him from the dead.

40. This is a saving faith, to believe.

41. He who believes, we must constantly remind sinners and saints that Jesus Christ is Lord (Jehovah God) and should be recognized as such.

42. He who does not want to believe has to pay such a debt for an eternity of life by disobedience. Amen.
