Trust in God

Trust in God - Psalm 62:8 Let us show confidence, that firm hope in Him. Let us trust in His power to move our lives forward, for not even one can move forward. On the contrary, it is us or oneself who sink into despair, agony, and sadness. "We must leave it to God to take care of our lives." Now develop your trust in Him and stop doubting Him. He was the one who chose you and called so, put your life in His care. You can't deal with problems and circumstances. Place all your trust and hope in Him. Be firm and secure in your trust in God, do not hesitate anymore. Trust (rely) in Him. Entrust Him with everything in your life.

I. Faith is an abiding duty.

A. A permanent privilege (maintained without interruption or change in the same place, state, or situation).

1. Your faith in God lasts forever, it is continuous, it is not interrupted.

2. We should trust, both when we can see and when we are totally in the dark.

3. Trust in God is the elevated act or exercise of faith by which the soul, "in looking to God” and casting itself upon His goodness, power, promises, faithfulness, and providence, is elevated above carnal fears and discouragements (decay of spirit, of energy to continue) above disturbing doubts and perplexities (confusion, doubt to be made) (upsetting, disturbing), or to obtain and continue in what is good, or to prevent or take away what is bad." (Thomas Lye)

4. "Wait on Him at all times, O peoples; pour out your hearts before Him."

5. According to our love, so will be our faith and trust in God; And according to our confidence, so will be our freedom on the throne of grace.

6. Let us trust in Him and be able to pour out our hearts before Him; "Spill it like water, in tears of joy."

7. For when the stone of your heart is melted by mercy, the eyes will flow like a fountain of tears. (Samuel Lee)

8. "Make Him your counselor and friend; you can only please Him when your heart trusts totally in Him."

9. You can tell Him, if you will, that you have been foolish, so foolish to go to this friend or that friend for relief and have found "none"; and that now you turn to Him, who commands you, "pour out your heart before Him." (John Berridge)

10. "Spill it like water; not as milk, the heat of which remains; nor like wine, which taste is retained.

11. Not as honey, which still tastes sweet, but as water, which, when spilled, there is nothing left of it.

12. So let "sin" be poured out of your heart and may "no trace of it remain in external marks," neither taste in words nor in affections. (Thomas Le Blanc).

13. (Psalm 37:5) Entrust your way to Jehovah.

14. Reveal your way.

15. Reveal your sin to God.

16. Truly, it is impossible to cover our sins, so why not reveal them to Him?

17. Don't hide what God already knows and wants you to make known to Him.

18. It is a bad job to be the devil's secretary.

19. Interrupt your dealings with Satan by revealing your secrets and sins to God. (Nathanael Hardy)

20. "And trust in Him; and He will act (acts proper to His nature) (action, His influence, causes a certain affection).

21. The farmer plows, harrows (shreds the earth) and sows and "then leaves the harvest to God."

22. What else can he do?

23. Can he not cover the heavens with clouds and order rain, or make the sun rise, or bring down dew?

24. He leaves everything in God's hands; and this is for all true wisdom; "to obediently trust God" and leave the results in His hands and "look forward to His blessing."

25. (Proverbs 3:5) Trust Jehovah with all your heart.

26. There must be a total commitment of ourselves, spirit, soul, and body to the Lord.

27. We must trust in Him, not only for the salvation of our souls but also for the direction of our lives.

28. It must be an unreserved commitment, release reservations.

29. Then there must be a healthy distrust of oneself, (I know a lot, but many who have confidence of themselves in (cleverness) their favor, so God is not there) that comes to be the same as recognizing that we do not know what is best for us and "that we are not able to guide ourselves".

30. (Jeremiah 10:23) I know, O Jehovah, that man is not lord of his way, nor of man who walks is "ordering his steps."

31. (Isaiah 26:4) At last they realize that "in Jehovah the Lord is the strength of the ages." Amen.
