Return To God - 1 Chronicles 16:11 In Hosea 14:2-4 it says, take with you words of supplication (begging, asking with humility and submission to God) and "return" to Jehovah (return) and say to Him: Take away all iniquity and accept the good and we will offer you the offering of our lips. They acknowledge (admit) that they have sinned, the reason, they had supported their trust in "the Assyrian," having trusted in the "horses" of Egypt and idolatry. They recognize that God is their only hope. (V.4) "I will heal your rebellion; I will love you with pure grace; for my anger departed from them.

I. (Matthew 7:7) It is a supernatural character of the life to which the Savior called us.

A. The wisdom or power for such a life is to be given to us from above.

1. We are given an invitation to "ask" and to keep asking; to "search" and keep searching; to "call" and keep calling.

2. The wisdom and power for the Christian life will be given "to all" who "pray" for both fervently and persistently (fervent, passionate, effusive) (steady, steadfast, insistent).

3. When you decide to have a life that prays and not have unconfessed sins.

4. (Matthew 26:41) How often does the Lord does not have to tell us what He said to Peter!

5. So, you haven't been able to watch with Me for an hour?

6. Watch and pray, that you may not enter into temptation.

7. The flesh is weak and better than anyone else, you must know your flesh and be able to see the need of your life in prayer.

8. (Luke 18:1) The "parable" of the widow "who prays" teaches the need to pray always and not to faint.

9. The special meaning in which it is used here is that of the prayer 'asking for deliverance' in a time of trial.

10. It is a prayer without fainting during the long and tiring time.

11. I don't know when Christ comes, but will He find faith on earth?

12. When Jesus returns, there will be only one remnant who is faithful to Him. (To stay, remain, be still, or stay on).

13. Each of us should be encouraged to that "kind of faith" that "cries out to God day and night."

14. A sting to the enthusiasm to develop a certain action or work, is that rod with an iron tip to move the oxen to do their work.

15. (John 16:24) Well observe your sanctification, observe the constant each day of your life in prayer, love the word, seek the day you retire with your Lord, then: the disciples had never prayed to God the Father in the "name" of the Lord.

16. Jesus reveals such a revelation to them, to awaken in them prayer, for Jesus, the name above all other names.

17. Now they are invited to "ask", just like you.

18. Their "joy" would be "complete" through answered prayer.

19. Pray to the Father in Jesus' name.

20. Brother your joy must be complete in prayer when you pray to the Father in the name of Jesus, ask the same, you are invited to do so too.

21. (Ephesians 6:18) Prayer is the atmosphere in which the soldier is to live and breathe.

22. It is the spirit in which the armor has to be put on and face the adversary.

23. Prayer should be continuous, not sporadic (rarely done), a habit, not an isolated act.

24. The soldier should also use every kind of prayer: public and private; deliberate (intentional, one good for another, voluntary) and spontaneous (self-impulse); prayer or intercession; confession and humiliation; praise and thanksgiving.

25. Prayer in the indwelling Spirit.

26. Prayer demands spiritual acuity, alertness, and concentration.

27. And there must be perseverance in prayer.

28. All saints should make supplications.

29. (James 5:13) Are you grieving?

30. Don't go to another, pray.

31. When we have problems, we should approach Him with fervent requests.

32. Are you cheerful?

33. Sing praises.

34. Ask for the hymns.

35. (1 Thessalonians 5:17) Pray without ceasing.

36. Enjoy continual communion with the Lord through prayer. Amen.
