That God May Be All in All - 1 Corinthians 15:24-28 Brethren we cannot realize how much God is in our lives. We think to our ability, we don't live under the faith of believing that God is "everything" in our lives. You can know of your failures, without strength, but that is determined by you when you want to believe in God as He deserves it, because He is absolute God. Just believe in His word and receive it, use the faith you need, and trust Him.

I. By the end of the thousand-year reign, God's purposes on earth will have been perfectly fulfilled.

A. All enemies destroyed.

1. Christ's reign as the Son of Man will then give way to the eternal kingdom in heaven.

2. Christ's reign will continue until all "traces" of rebellion and enmity have been removed.

3. Even during the Millennial Reign of Christ people will continue to die, especially those who openly rebel with Jesus, Lord. (Isaiah 65:17-25) (Micah 4:1-5).

4. God has decreed (commanded) that all things "shall be subdued" under the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ.

5. It must be understood, by submitting "all things" under Him, God has necessarily united Himself.

6. They are one.

7. He (Jesus) Himself will follow, after all things are subject to His feet and Christ does everything ordained by God, God's command is for the Lord.

8. God excepts Himself (sets aside) and leaves the Son, to finish all service of the gospel in Him and there is the Millennium, on His shoulders.

9. After all things have been "submitted" to the Son, He Himself will remain subject to God forever.

10. As far as the gospel is concerned, God has made Christ.

11. Jesus will fulfill His plans and counsels as steward of all of His plans.

12. The gospel falls on Jesus totally, all "authority" and "power" have been placed in His hands.

13. You ask Him as the one who hears you and responds.

14. Creation will be returned to God in a perfect condition, through the gospel that was born in Jesus.

15. (Matthew 28:18) (V.17) Some were hesitant.

16. Jesus explained to them that "all authority had been given to Him... in heaven and on earth."

17. This is the gospel: in a sense He had always had all authority.

18. But now He was speaking of authority as "Head" of the new creation: "you."

19. Since His death and resurrection, He had authority to give eternal life to all those God had given Him.

20. (John 17:2) As a result of His work of redemption (salvation, Christ sacrificed Himself for the redemption of our sins, ransom) which is the gospel on the cross. God has given His Son power over all mankind.

21. This "power" gave Him the right to "give eternal life" to all those whom the Father "has given Him."

22. Once again, we are reminded that before the foundation of the world, God appointed certain men as belonging to Christ.

23. There is no one who cannot be saved by trusting in the Savior.

24. He had always had power as the firstborn of all creation.

25. He is the one who has carried out the work of redemption, the gospel, had authority as the firstborn of the dead: "that in all pre-eminence" (privilege, which enjoys special merit) (Colossians 1:15,18) (v.15) He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; Jesus has made us able to see what God is like. God is Spirit and is therefore invisible. But in the Person of Christ, God has made Himself visible to mortal eyes. In this sense, the Lord Jesus is the "image of the invisible God." He is God's representative. God had originally placed Adam on earth so that he would be able to represent (on earth) "His interests," but Adam failed. Then He sent His only begotten Son as His Representative to look after His interests and reveal His heart of love to man. "He is the image of God." (v.18) He is the head of the body which is the church. During this dispensation, we are constituted into what is known as the body of Christ, or the church. Are you in the gospel?

26. (Luke 10:22) All things were given to the Son "by" the "Father," God has placed the entire universe under the authority of His Son.

27. "No one knows who the Son is but the Father."

28. There is a mystery related to the Incarnation that no one knows but the Father.

29. No one knows "who the Father is, but the Son and the one to whom the Son will reveal Him."

30. God is also beyond human comprehension.

31. (John 3:35) Here is manifested this love in that it has been given control over "all things."

32. If you are in Him, He is in control of everything.

33. Among these things over which the Savior has "total" control are the destinies of men. And do you know if you are in total control of the Savior? Amen.
