Jesus Is on Earth for You

Jesus Is on Earth for You - Matthew 21:23-27 The gospel speaks of the love God shows to mankind, sending His only Son Jesus Christ to redeem the world. We already know such great love of the Father for the earth. In the gospel is the full knowledge of our Jesus. The Bible explains who it is that Jesus who comes to earth dies and rises, to wash us with His blood and everything else we can lead to winning.

I. His dominion is eternal dominion. (To the power He has.)

A. That will never pass away.

1. His kingdom is one that will not be destroyed.

2. This kingdom is the one we will live in.

3. On earth they wanted to prove His authority.

4. Jesus' authority is questioned by those who pretended to know.

5. When Jesus is in the court adjacent (very close, next door) to the temple, the chief priests and elders interrupted His teaching to ask Him who gave Him the "authority" to teach, perform miracles, and purify the temple (remove from a thing the bad, what is strange or useless to leave pure).

6. They sought to trap Jesus in His words, thought or were the guardians of the temple.

7. Jesus had no formal instruction and certainly no credentials from the rulers of Israel.

8. The Lord agreed to explain His authority if they first answered a question: John's baptism. Where did it come from? From heaven, or from men?

9. By John's baptism the meaning of John's ministry must be understood.

10. Therefore, the question became: Who authorized John to carry out his ministry?

11. What credentials did he have from Israel's leaders?

12. The answer was obvious (no doubt can be made clear): John was a man sent by God.

13. His power came from a divine endowment, not from a "human commission." (Set of people).

14. If they admitted that John had been sent by God, they were trapped.

15. If they had answered correctly that John had been sent by God, they would have had the answer to their own question: Jesus was the Messiah, of whom John had been the forerunner. (Introduce or go ahead of).

16. They pretend to not to know.

17. They could not tell what the source of John's power was.

18. Then Jesus said to them, “Neither do I tell you with what authority I do these things.”

19. Why would He tell them what they already knew, but were not willing to admit?

20. (Luke 12:8-9) The Savior tells the disciples that "whosoever confesses Me before men" will henceforth be confessed by Him before the angels of God.

21. He refers to all true believers.

22. To confess Him is to receive Him as "only" Lord and Savior.

23. In His joy that receives Him, He announces to the angels that you accepted Him. Big!

24. That is His domain.

25. Whoever denies Him before men will be denied before the angels of God.

26. On that day, He will say, "I never knew you."

27. Exaltation of Christ whom you serve.

28. What an honor we must give Him in our lives!

29. (Phil 2:8-10) He did not look for a name for Himself.

30. He humbled Himself.

31. If the Savior humbled Himself, "God also exalted Him to the uttermost." (Highest grade, larger.)

32. If He did not seek a name for Himself, "God... He gave Him the name which is above all names."

33. If God was so absolutely satisfied with the redemptive work of Christ, that He determined that "every knee be bowed to Him," of beings in heaven, on earth, and under the earth.

34. This does not mean that all these beings will be saved.

35. Those who do not bend the knee now "willingly" will one day be forced to do so.

36. He has eternal dominion.

37. You decide what you do with your life: Those who do not want to be reconciled in "the day of His grace" (now) will be subjugated (subdued, oppressed, dominated) on the day of His judgment. Hallelujah!
