The Creator

"The Creator" - Genesis 1:1 The summary (Genesis 1:1) where we find the first article of our creed, that God the Father Almighty is the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth.

I. The effect produced namely all structuring and decoration of the Universe.

1. The world is like a great building, with its upper and lower floors, with a stable and magnificent structure, uniform, convenient and with each room wisely and admirably furnished.

2. "The heavens" not only appear to our eyes beautified with glorious lamps for adornment of their exterior, as we read here of their creation, but also filled within with "glorious beings", hidden from our sight.

3. In the visible world, it is easy to observe: (a) great variety of different species of beings very different from each other in their nature and constitution; (b) great beauty.

4. The blue sky and the green earth are a charm for the eyes of the curious viewer.

5. How great, then, must be the beauty of the Creator!

6. The works of nature, seen under the microscope, appear much more beautiful than the works of art, great power.

7. In nature there are phenomena that our reason will never be able to understand.

8. Our duty as a Christian is to always keep our eyes on heaven and our feet on the ground.

9. (Nehemiah 9:6) In this prayer by Ezra, praise is paid to God, especially for His "mercy" and "faithfulness."

10. Forgiveness is asked for the sins of the people.

11. If He is real whom would be asked for forgiveness? How many names for Him to redeem us?

12. Solemn worship of God as the perfect and glorious Being and as the source of all beings (Nehemiah 9:5, 6).

13. The assembly is summoned to join in this praise by standing up.

14. You (vs. 6) are only Jehovah.

15. If you do not want to see the Creator you do not see Him, but if you want to know Him here on earth follow the story of Abraham, until you reach Moses, then you will know the God of Israel and even if you want to fall into grace you know Israel from Mary until the death and resurrection of the Lord and what is today the Church full of miracles and His glory.

16. As the Creator of all things: "You made the heavens and the heavens of heavens, with all its army.

17. The earth and everything that is in it, the seas and everything that is in them.

18. You quicken all these things; You will give them life; strengthen them.

19. The armies of heaven worship You.

20. I want to do it as do those of this army who see Him, but I do not see Him, but it is in me through the Holy Spirit who makes me know Him, feel Him.

21. (Job 26:7) He hangs the earth over nothing.

22. If we look around us at the land and the waters, we will see extraordinary examples of divine power.

23. Man cannot hang a feather over nothingness, but God hangs over nothingness the entire orb (world, universe).

24. He ties the waters in His clouds, and you know what? Clouds are not broken (Job 26:8); as in huge sacks and yet the clouds do not break.

25. (Acts 14:15) Barnabas and Paul quote the Old Testament to these Gentiles as they did to the Jews.

26. Rather, they began with the story of "creation," a subject of immediate interest to Gentile peoples in all countries and ages.

27. They had evidence of the "existence of God in creation and providence." (Acts 14:17)

28. He was the one who with "love" "provided" rains... and fruitful seasons of the year for them, "filling their hearts with sustenance and joy."

29. Figuratively meaning that by God providing food for their bodies, God filled their "hearts with" the joy that comes from the enjoyment of food. How beautiful from God!

30. (Hebrews 11:3) Faith gives us the only true account of creation.

31. God is the only one who was there; and He tells us how it happened.

32. We believe in His word and with that we know.

33. McCue says: The concept (design, image, construction) of God existing before matter and of its creation by "His" command commanding that it exist, is beyond the domain of reason or demonstration. It is accepted simply by an act of faith.

34. By faith we understand, the world says, "Seeing is believing." God says, "Believe and you shall see." Jesus says to Martha, "Have I not told you that if you believe, you will see...?" (John 11:40; 1 John 5:13) The Apostle John wrote, "These things I have written to you who believe... that you may know."

35. "The universe was entirely organized by the word of God." God spoke and matter came into being. This agrees perfectly with man's discovery that matter is essentially energy. When God spoke, there was an accumulation in wave form that was transformed into matter and the world arose into being.

36. So, what you see is made of things that are not visible. Energy is invisible; The same is the case for the naked eye with atoms, molecules, and gases; but in their combinations they become visible.

37. The fact of creation as set forth in this verse is indisputable. It has never been improved and never will be. Amen.
