You Didn't Serve Jehovah – Deuteronomy 28:47 When God is forgotten and we do not serve with happiness and joy of heart, it is the reason for lack of abundance in all things. Then you will serve, therefore, your enemies whom Jehovah will send against you. That people of man fainted. How many promises of abundance they had. They were heads and not tails. When you are already filled with what you have, what you aspire to, and not your God, then everything becomes darkness.

I. Plagues and diseases would greatly reduce the population of Israel.

A. Then they spread throughout the earth.

1. (Nehemiah 9:35) They did not serve You.

2. They gathered for a great day of national confession.

3. They will turn away from the "stranger" (the world) that lived in their midst and humble themselves before the Lord.

4. Confession is the path that leads to revival.

5. Jesus speaks to you of prayer, the golden rule; what you want them to do to you, do it to them; it is a narrow door to our lives; the wide door leads you to perdition. The tree must bear good fruit, every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down; What fruit do you give? You can prophesy and cast out demons and perform miracles; even if you say Lord, Lord, is not the reason to enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of the Father.

6. (Matthew 7:26) You do not do these words, I will compare you to a foolish man (immaturity, recklessness), and you have made your life in the sand.

7. This man will not be able to withstand the storms of adversity, "the house fell because it did not have a solid foundation.

8. Solid foundations will never let you fall.

9. (Matthew 7:27) Evil and (26) negligent (he does not put care, diligence because of what he does, in fulfillment of an obligation) the Lord rebuked him.

10. God puts us to multiply what He puts in your hands; it is not to diminish.

11. Do not seek the multiplication of the other, but what God has given you.

12. If he had such thoughts about his Lord, why hadn't he "taken" His money (gift) to the bankers to earn interest?

13. It was not to accuse; it was that what God had placed in his hands he had to have worked on.

14. Today it is done, and tomorrow we have to do more, the day after tomorrow we have to do something else, this is multiplication.

15. "If this is the kind of gentleman you thought I am, all the more reason to set your talents in motion."

16. It condemns us what we think, what we speak: Your words condemn you; they do not excuse you.

17. (Luke 12:47-48) Everyone (48) to whom much has been given, much will be demanded; and to him who has been entrusted much, more will be asked.

18. Establish a fundamental principle (base, main, essence) with respect to the entire service.

19. This principle is that the greater the privilege, the greater the responsibility.

20. For believers, this means that there will be degrees of rewards in heaven.

21. Those who have come to know God's "will" as revealed in Scripture are under a great "responsibility to obey it."

22. To whom much has been given; Much will be demanded of him.

23. Those who have not had so great a privilege will also be punished for their wrongdoings, but their punishment will be less severe.

24. (James 2:14) Here we are talking about a pretended faith that is not backed by good works.

25. What good is it for someone to say they have faith?

26. James is describing the man who has but one "profession" of faith.

27. He says he has faith, but there is "nothing" in his life to prove it.

28. Can that faith save you?

29. It's not saying it, it's having it.

30. A so-called faith is not backed by good works.

31. Such faith is worthless.

32. It's all words, and nothing more.

33. We are saved by faith alone, but not by a faith that remains alone, we have service to do, and it is the work that concerns us.

34. (James 4:17) Sin, then, is in him who knows how to do good and does not do it.

35. To "do good" is to include God in every aspect of our lives, to "live every moment in dependence on Him."

36. If we know that we should do this, and we do not, we are obviously sinning.

37. The opportunity that life gives us to do good makes us responsible for doing it.

38. To stop doing "good" is "sin" against God, against our neighbor, and "against ourselves." Amen.
