The Human Race has Two Destinies

"The Human Race has Two Destinies" - Luke 16:22-31 Death is a black camel kneeling at everyone's door (Abd-El-Cader). So rich and poor must prepare for death, because Death is waiting for us all. The beggar died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. (Hebrews 1:14) They are spirits sent to serve those who inherit salvation, not only while they live, but also when they die. God sends His angels as messengers to bring them to Him, because the saints are to be brought to the Father's house, "not only safely," but also honorably. On earth the coffin is carried by the highest-ranking people, what were they compared to those who took your body?

I. The rich man says, "I am tormented in this flame."

A. And very aware of his torture, real suffering.

1. The choices made in this life determine our eternal destiny.

2. When death has taken place, this destiny is "fixed."

3. He was a "son" and knew what the prophets taught, and he had no desire or passion to learn what would determine his destiny.

4. (1 John 2:1) Jesus is our advocate.

5. (Matthew 5:29) The commandment of an undefiled mental life demands strict selfdiscipline.

6. The eye can't be taken out, why?

7. By divine grace, it is never necessary, for the Holy Spirit enables the believer to live "a life in holiness."

8. (Matthew 25:41) Let us not see life in the Lord as light, let us have immense fear, the reason: they did not attend to Him when He came to save them, they ignored Him, they despised Him, now it is His turn to judgment: "depart from me", cursed, to the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

9. One day we will die.

10. That is what we must take care of, so that we do not go back.

11. (2 Peter 2:4) (Jude 6) The angels who sinned.

12. God did not forgive the angels who did not keep their position.

13. They left their proper abode.

14. They left their angelic position that had been assigned to them, they left their abode in Heaven for a dwelling place on earth.

15. God was affronted (humiliated) by the gross apostasy of the angels from the order He had established.

16. They were cast "into hell."

17. (Proverbs 15:24) The way of the wise man goes "upwards," toward life, so that he may avoid the one who goes down to death and destruction.

18. Again, we are reminded of the two paths and the two destinies of the human race.

19. (Revelation 19:20 and Revelation 20:11-15) Hell is temporary in nature because it will only last until the end of the Millennium.

20. On that occasion the souls in hell will be returned to be reunited to their respective material bodies, which will then be gathered from the dust of the earth to be resurrected in the Second Resurrection. (Daniel 12:2): some to eternal life, those saints of the

Tribulation who showed themselves understanding in obeying the Lord and leading faith and righteousness to others; and others to shame and everlasting confusion.

21. (John 5:28-29) Let us not marvel at such an event because one day the hour will come when all who are in the grave will hear His voice, those who died in tribulation without being marked and die will rise.

22. The wicked, who did not want Jesus, will have the whole trinity of man, body, soul and spirit will be reintegrated into the person they were before they died.

23. (Revelation 20:11-15) Every individual who was born into this world and who died without Christ will stand for himself at the judgment of the Great White Throne.

24. Such is the perfect justice of God.

25. Every man during his life sinned in body, soul, and spirit.

26. It is right, therefore, that even in the same body, soul, and spirit he should be judged according to the works which he did on earth.

27. All those whose names are not written in the Book of Life will be cast into the Lake of Fire along with Satan and the Antichrist (Revelation 20:10).

28. The Lake of Fire is now vacant, but it will be inaugurated by two living people: Antichrist and the False Prophet (Revelation 19:20).

29. (Matthew 5:29-30) Take out what will lead to hell.

30. (Mark 9:43-48) Discipline and renunciation.

31. Those who undertake true discipleship must constantly battle against the natural desires and appetites of the flesh.

32. Controlling them assures spiritual victory or eternal fire.

33. What you don't conquer will lead you to the fire that can't be quenched.

34. The worm (48) that does not die and tortures the body and the fire that is not quenched.

35. What do you enjoy today or what hopeless struggles in the fire? Amen.
