There is a reward for your work

"There is a reward for your work" - Ephesians 6:10 Paul calls "the family of God," makes them an intense, stirring call as soldiers of Christ. "Every true" child of God soon learns that "the Christian life is a war." Satan's hosts (army) are engaged in hindering and obstructing the work of Christ and "putting out of combat the soldiers individually." The more "effective a believer is for the Lord," the more he will experience the savage attacks of the enemy, the devil does not waste his ammunition against nominal Christians (in name). We cannot do anything in our own strength against the devil.

I. The first preparatory commandment (prepare) is that we be "strengthened" in the Lord.

A. In the unlimited resources of His strength.

1. God's best soldiers are aware of their own weaknesses and ineffectiveness (impossibility), which rely on Him alone.

2. (1 Kings 2:2) I follow the way of all in the earth; Strive and be a man.

3. David was old, seventy years old, and his health was declining.

4. He is about to leave the scene of history.

5. (2 Chronicles 15:2) Judah and Benjamin: (2) The Lord will be with you if you are with Him, and if you seek Him, He will be found among you; but if you leave Him, He will also leave you.

6. By leaving the Lord, consequently, they had no peace.

7. The prophet said to him, "If you look for Him, He will be found."

8. But when the nation sought Jehovah, they found that He was always willing to forgive and restore.

9. Since Asa was seeking Jehovah, Azariah encouraged him to persevere in his good work.

10. A verse worth memorizing: "But be strong and do not let your hands fail, for there is a reward for your work."

11. (1 Corinthians 15:58) My beloved brethren, be firm and steadfast, "growing in the Lord's work always," knowing that our labor in the Lord is not in vain.

12. Jesus died and rose again, and from the fact that faith in Christ is not in vain, the Apostle exhort them: be firm and constant, abounding in the work of the Lord always.

13. (Isaiah 35:4) There will be mutual comfort and encouragement among the Saints.

14. He who receives this Word will be blessed by God, he who doubts and turns his back on it: "Be strong" (courageous, courageous, strong, not dejected and discouraged).

15. You should not be afraid and be strong.

16. Every human must leave behind fears, dismay, horror.

17. Fear is a very powerful force and its consequences on the human being are as many as the sources from which consequences can arise = stopping, panic, anxiety of what can arise in you.

18. (Haggai 2:4) About a month later, in the seventh month, the people had already become discouraged by the newly rebuilt, "remembering the greatness of the first temple."

19. The leaders are exhorted to "exert themselves" and "not to fear," because the "Spirit of God" was in their midst."

20. (Zechariah 8:9) "Let your hands be strong."

21. The one who fights knows very, very well that paralyzed hands destroy what has been started, and getting up is a burden for him.

22. God was speaking to them through the prophets, God had already set them free: it could be that they were paralyzed.

23. How many questions?

24. The prophets were encouraging them, and they exhorted them to continue building.

25. "Before" they began temple work, they had suffered a great deal of unemployment, and violence boiled over into the streets.

26. Now God promises them "peace" and prosperity and that instead of a "curse," they will be a "blessing."

27. (1 Corinthians 16:13) They must be constantly watchful, firm in the faith, manly to behave—to act like a man.

28. God's perfect will is that man should not be idle.

29. It is asked to be strong, to resist, to try.

30. The saints are to be on guard "at all times."

31. They must not give up even the smallest piece of vital territory (of one's own life).

32. We must behave "with real courage."

33. Take out fears, which is what ruins your faith, courage and weakens you, and you are on the way to ruin and defeat.

34. They are to be strong in the Lord.

35. Because everything we do is with love.

36. It is devotion to God and to others.

37. Paul's beautiful words to Timothy before he left this earth. (2 Timothy 2:1)

38. To put on "power in the grace that is in Christ Jesus" means to be courageous (courageous, striving, much power, bravery, daring) with the power that His grace provides; it is not you, it is the power of His grace; "Take it," you are being provided, you have nothing to do, only faith and you take it.

39. Pursue faithfully for the Lord, with the undeserved capacity that comes from being united to Him. Amen.
