Lake of Fire

"Lake of Fire" - Revelation 14:10-11 The church seems to be the place to receive blessings, petitions, as that place that resolves what life is. The church is for learning and preparing for that individual future for each of us, from small to great. Today I will tell you about the Lake of Fire, which will be or is the place to which those who have not been able to learn to be meek and loving of the Lord Jesus Christ, Immanuel, God with us, receive.

I. Hell, or in other words the lake of fire, is the eternal abode of those who have not believed.

A. It is the abode of unbelievers.

1. The lake of fire and brimstone was created for the devil and fallen angels.

2. (Mark 9:43-48) Hell is the word that denotes (means) the lake of fire.

3. Our own discipline and renunciation.

4. If you have embarked on the path of true discipleship, you must constantly battle against personal desires and appetites.

5. Surrendering to them leads you to ruin and to your loved ones because there is no one to watch over evil, behind it is the lake of fire and brimstone.

6. Controlling them ensures spiritual victory.

7. The Lord refers to the hand, the foot, and the eye, explaining that it would be better to lose one of these limbs than to stumble because of one of them and fall into hell into the fire.

8. To the lake of fire and brimstone that will be next to the devil himself.

9. The "hand" might suggest our actions, the "foot" our walk, and the "eye" the things we desire.

10. They are potential dangers, which can lead us to the lake of fire.

11. Not being able to be treated rigorously (harshly), they can lead to eternal ruin.

12. The person that constantly gives satisfaction to the flesh is evident that he has never been saved.

13. (Mark 9:44-48) The Lord speaks again and again of hell as a place where its worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.

14. Let us not be dragged by the use of these organs and arrive in hell, in fire.

15. Five times Jesus uses: To hell, to fire.

16. (Matthew 3:12) The Lord is described as using a fork (a long, rake-like but longer stick to grind the wheat to pull out the chaff) to throw the threshed grain into the wind.

17. The wheat (true believers) falls directly to the ground and is stored "in the barn."

18. Instead, "the chaff" (the unbelievers) is blown a short distance away by the wind and then picked up and burned with unquenchable fire.

19. Fire signifies judgment, and for it is reasonable to conclude that baptism with fire is a baptism of judgment.

20. (Matthew 5:29-30) Maintaining an uncontaminated mental life requires strict selfdiscipline.

21. That is why Jesus taught that if any part of our body causes us to sin, it would be better to lose during life "than to lose our soul for all eternity" in the fire of the lake of brimstone, burning, desolate, and in torture.

22. Out of His love, it is never necessary, for the Holy Spirit enables the believer to live "a life of holiness".

23. Let us know once and for all that you must do your part and rigid discipline on your part.

24. (Luke 12:5) Whom you should fear.

25. We must fear God more than the most powerful men in this world, but only God.

26. "After He has taken the life, He has the authority to cast it into hell."

27. By confessing Christ, one can incur the wrath of men; but in denying Christ, one incurs the wrath of God, which is infinitely more powerful than the difference between time and eternity is infinite.

28. Bishop Hooper, martyr of the faith said: that life is sweet, and death is bitter; but eternal life is sweeter, and eternal death is more bitter".

29. (Revelation 20:10) The devil himself is cast into the lake of fire and brimstone with the beast and the false prophet; he will be an agent of the beast of Revelation and an ally of the antichrist or Satan.

30. It may be surprising that Satan can gather an army of unbelievers at the end of the Millennium.

31. We should remember that all children born during Christ's Reign will be born in sin and will need salvation.

32. Not all will wholeheartedly accept Jesus Christ as King and they will scatter themselves throughout the land, trying to get as far away from Jerusalem as they can.

33. Notice that the beast and the false prophet are still in hell after a thousand years. Amen.
