Do not worry about anything

Christian Church Mega Zoé · Pastor Edermira Cruz

"Do not worry about anything" – Philippians 4:6 Even if you can't immediately see why God "works" the way He does, you can still go in obedient faith! Dedicate yourself to the work to be done with effort. "Tiredness" that derives from some action (ceasing to have a passive role to start doing something).

I. Is it possible for the believer to "not live anxiously" about anything?

A. On the contrary, we live worried about everything.

1. To be anxious is to live in a constant effort, a desire to have or possess this or that.

2. To be anxious is the lack of faith in God.

3. The anxieties and "worries" that the present life produces are a consequence of a lack of trust in God.

4. Worry begins when faith ends.

5. The anxious, that intense desire (attracts, attraction to something to the point of wanting it, obtaining or achieving it) for something, to achieve something or lead to a state (posture) in the short, medium or long term.

6. (Greek = merinao, demerio means) Divide into parts.

7. The one who is anxious lives in distraction, a preoccupation with things that produce "anxiety, tension and pressure".

8. To be anxious, it well describes a person who has "a divided mind".

9. Let no circumstance overwhelm you.

10. (Matthew 6:25) Don't worry about your life.

11. (Philippians 4:6; Matthew 6:25) What He wants to teach us is: Stop worrying.

12. (Matthew 6:25) God tells us and leads us to a warning: stop worrying.

13. Let's not give room to anxiety and "the zest for life".

14. We should not divide our life into parts.

15. Eagerness distracts us, provokes us to worry about things that produce anxiety, tension and pressure.

16. This word well describes a person who has a divided mind.

17. It means to be drawn in different directions.

18. Regardless of what you may be doing, a part of your mind is not focused on what you are doing, because you are distracted or preoccupied with something else.

19. Worry robs our mind of its ability to concentrate and focus, which makes us ineffective.

20. When we worry, we divide our mind between different types of interests, which "distracts" us and often "paralyzes" us.

21. When you decide to live in a hurry, you stop being effective and productive.

22. Worrying excessively and toiling is not going to solve your problems, nor is it going to solve or supply our needs.

23. Time in which we work is a useless, not productive time.

24. "Prayer" is both an act and an atmosphere (air, sky, space, firmament).

25. We go to the Lord on specific occasions and bring "specific petitions before Him".

26. But it is also possible to live in an atmosphere of prayer.

27. It is possible that the attitude of our life is full prayer.

28. Perhaps the word prayer in this verse means the overall (total, complete, whole) attitude of our life while "supplication" or "request" refers to the concrete "petitions" (exact, specific, precise) that we make to the Lord.

29. Notice that our "petitions" should be "presented to God" with "thanksgiving".

30. "Not having anxiety about anything."

31. "Pray in everything."

32. "Be grateful for anything."

33. If this is our attitude, the peace of God that passes all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts (which torment us so much) in Christ Jesus.

34. God's peace is a feeling of holy rest and complacency that floods the soul when you lean fully on God. Amen
