Who Will Change Him?

"Who Will Change Him?" - Job 23:13-14 "In the meantime, the only God. Job understands that if God determined (decided) something, who will change it?" The one God does all that His "soul" desires" and Job is frightened by this, even terrified to "just think about it", because God has sent (weakened, exhausted, withdrawn strength) his heart.

I. That God's designs (purposes, plan) are immutable (firm, unalterable, unchanging).

A. If He determines one thing, who will change it?

1. He knows everything, He does not err "nor does He have counselors" to alter His designs (purposes).

2. Nothing can change God's purposes.

3. The power of God is irresistible (cannot be resisted, endured): His soul desired, and did.

4. God can do anything He wants (Psalm 135:6) and He will always do what He wants, for He always wants the best, even if we sometimes don't understand it.

5. (Job 42:2) (38:1) We see him subscribing (end of a writing, signing) the truth of the power of knowledge and of the "infinite dominion of God," to prove what God had spoken to him from the whirlwind.

6. He recognizes that God is omnipotent.

7. (Job 40:10-19) Can there be anything difficult for the one who has created the behemoth and the leviathan (Job 41:1) and handles them as He pleases?

8. Job knew this well before, and he himself had spoken very well on the same subject, but now he knew it by applying it to himself: "I know that thou canst do all things," and therefore you can also raise me from the low condition in which I find myself, and from which, in my despair, it had seemed impossible to escape.

9. He also recognizes that "no purpose of God" can be hindered.

10. The Lord does whatever He desires.

11. (Job 23:13) Job had passionately admitted this, complaining about just that, but now he acknowledges it with satisfaction.

12. "If the designs "of God" for us are for the good, to bring us to an unexpected and surprising end, "no one can hinder them".

13. (Psalm 113:3) He has done all that He willed.

14. We can well bear the mockery. "Where is your God now?" While we are perfectly sure that His providence is unaltered, His face is unshakable (it cannot be moved (disturbed) and His purposes "intact." Hallelujah!

15. What He has done, He will continue to do, His counsel will remain and He will do all He pleases, and at the end of the great drama of human history, God's omnipotence and His immutability, stability, (cannot be changed) and His faithfulness will be more than vindicated (defending the one who is wronged) to the eternal confusion of His adversaries. 16. Now it should be clear to everyone that the true God is transcendent (important, outstanding, brilliant, remarkable): "Our God is in heaven," and He is sovereign: "He has made all that He willed."

17. God's transcendence means that He is exalted above the universe and that He exists separately from it.

18. God's sovereignty means that He is free to do as He pleases (because He, in all that is good, is just in His mind and Being) and what pleases Him is always good, just, and wise.

19. (Isaiah 43:13) From the beginning, He has been "the only Savior of His people."

20. Those gods that the people made: In vain will they present themselves, for only the God of Israel is accredited (reputation, celebrity, reality) as true God by His power to save.

21. They are called the people of Israel, recognize that only God is the true one, Jehovah calls them as His "witnesses" and you as a people who must testify that He is the only true "God", that He is eternal and that apart from Him "there is none who saves", or Deliverer and that "no one can hinder His decrees and works".

22. (Matthew 19:26) "With men, this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."

23. Humanly speaking, it is impossible for anyone to be saved: only God can save a soul.

24. But it is more difficult for a rich man to surrender his will to Christ than for a poor man, as is evident from the fact that few rich people are converted.

25. (Luke 1:35-37) Nothing is impossible with God.

26. The angel then gave the news to Mary that Elizabeth, her relative, was already "six months" pregnant.

27. She, the one who had been barren!

28. This miracle should assure Mary that "nothing will be impossible with God."

29. Conformity of it to God's will for it.

30. "Someone with faith in divine authority", "Behold the handmaid of the Lord".

31. As if to say, "Lord, I am completely at Your service.

32. Thus, she left the matter completely in God's hands and submits entirely to God's will.

33. Not only is she glad, she says so be it, but she humbly desires that it should be so: "Let it be done to me according to Thy word."

34. As soon as she had consented, the angel departed from her presence.

35. His mission accomplished, he returned to God, in whose presence he was continually. Hallelujah! Amen
