"Reason, spiritual cleansing" - 1 Corinthians 13:11 Small, well, what we believe has been spoken. Rude, spoiled, joking, meaningless what is said and speaking. On many occasions the reason, understanding, and intellect of what is spoken and what can be felt are not used, (Romans 14:12; Matthew 12:36); So each one of us will give an account of himself to God; So it is clear that "each one of us will give an account to God for himself, "not for his brothers". We judge each other too much and without proper authority or knowledge. It is good for humans to think and give their opinion from the outside.

I. Let's be able to fix our lives with reasoning.

A. Let's learn to use our intellect. Intelligence is for everyone, because reason must be in our minds.

1. (Matthew 12:36) Jesus solemnly warned them (firm, grave, formal), as for every human being that all will give an account for every idle (useless, unnecessary, vain) word they utter.

2. For the words that people have spoken, pronounced "are an accurate measure of their lives," they will constitute (establish, found) a proper basis for condemnation or absolution.

3. (1 Corinthians 13:11) When I was a child: reasoning, understanding, intelligence was of a child.

4. Young children have very confused notions about things and according to their notions (idea, knowledge) they express themselves and reason (understanding, intellect) also confusedly (children), without success or aim, because they are children.

5. But when they become adults, they "abandon" these ideas quite naturally and laugh at them.

6. You must mature, "I put aside", in the sense of "that I had decided not to make use of ideas, children's "knowledge".

7. "I have become a man... I have set aside", the process was not instantaneous, but progressive.

8. Most likely, Paul put aside childish things with decision and purpose, that is, definitively.

9. (Isaiah 55:8-9) If we look up to heaven, we find there, God's thoughts and ways (His purposes and His actions) at an infinite distance above our own.

10. (Isaiah 55:7) The same (unjust, wicked) is urged to leave his evil thoughts and ways and to bring his thoughts and ways into line with God's "for God says, 'My (8) thoughts and my ways are not like yours.'

11. That is to say: Yours are directed to the things below; mine are far above, "as much as heaven is over the earth; and if you consider yourselves true penitents (reconciliation, confession of sins) ours must also be set on the things above (Colossians 3:2).

12. (Romans 2:14-15) Now, Paul explains that, although the law was not given to the Gentiles, yet they have an innate knowledge of good and evil.

13. They know instinctively (behavior that is not the result of learning) that it is wrong to lie, steal, commit adultery, and murder.

14. The only commandment that I would not know by intuition (instantaneous presentiment, without the need for reasoning) is the one that deals with the Sabbath; and this one more ceremonial than bad.

15. So, this boils down to the Gentiles having no law..." they are law unto themselves.

16. They constitute their own code of what behavior is good or bad based on their moral instincts (customs and norms that are considered "good" to direct or judge people's behavior).

17. (15) They show the works of the law written in their hearts.

18. It is not the "law itself" that is written in their hearts, but "the work of the law."

19. The work that the law was intended to accomplish in the lives of the Israelites is seen to some extent in the lives of the Gentiles.

20. The fact that they know what is right regarding their parents, for example, shows the work of the law written in their hearts.

21. Their "consciousness", which serves as a controller, confirms this instinctive knowledge (which is the work, effect or result of instinct (it is not learning) and not of judgment or reflection).

22. And their "thoughts" are constantly deciding" the "right" or wrong of their actions, "accusing or defending their reasoning (understanding, intelligence) by forbidding or permitting.

23. And you, how do you take care of purity?

24. (Isaiah 1:18-20) God's forgiveness, in such a case, will be so efficacious and complete that, though his sins may have been like scarlet (red, dark, and strong) and crimson (dark red), that is, though sin is as deep within us as is a cloth deeply dyed red and long kept in that dye, God's merciful forgiveness will discharge, with the same depth, the dyeing.

25. If we cleanse ourselves through repentance, God whitens us. If you will and hear (obey) you will eat the good of the earth; all the good that the promised land produces.

26. But, for the same reason, and rightly so, if they refuse to obey and continue in their rebellion, they will be consumed by the sword, "for the mouth of God has spoken, who cannot lie. Amen
