THEME: “Knowing how to live” John 1:1 – 18 Knowing how to live is an art and only could be understood by those who know the Lord. It is preposterous for a person that has known the grace and mercy of God to live in spiritual remiss. This is being rebellious against God. God’s love is unique and it is impossible to live isolate from Him. No human in the world has been able to find a perfect love that only comes from the Lord, because only in God we find perfection. We humans are not perfect, we constantly fail. Only one love is perfect and deserves never to be abandoned and it is the love of God. It is wonderful for you to know that He loves you and His desire is to have communion with you as Father with a son, and son with Father. God looks for creatures to redeem, forgive their sins and to make them new. But many rejects and do not receive Him. Also, many who once believed turn back from His love. It seems like each day that goes by humans turn away from God. Beloved, be vigilant for spiritual lukewarm, and disregarding your soul, remember your soul is eternal and he who separates from God will go through worse things than before they met God. We have to pray every day. God deserves not crumbs but the best of us. Many presume to live for God but they live in two waters, living a double life. That is not knowing how to live. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and we should take care of ourselves with love in church and out of church. God is life, and away from Him we are spiritually dead. He has given us life and abundant life, that we won’t be deceived in our own way of living. John 10:10 We can see in John 1:1 and the verses that follow that Jesus isn’t part of creation, He is the creator Himself. We are His creation. Sometimes we see Jesus as something more, but we have to give Him a special value. Jesus created, He was there in creation. He formed us when we were in our mother’s womb. Millions of years before we were even born, we were in our Creator’s mind. As we can see He has given us so much, therefore; why should we live tormented? The Lord has always kept an eye on us. Let us learn to live in Him and with Him. There is nothing great in us that we can offer the Lord. Do we have good qualities to offer Him? The only thing we have to offer Him is our low self-esteem, our insecurities, etc. He is everything in us. “for it is God who works in you to will and act according to His good purpose.” Philippians 2:13 Jesus is everything for those who recognize they are sinners and seek Him from their heart. Be careful! There are many things that want to fill your life and take God’s place in your daily life. Let us live closely to the giver of life. The word verb was used in ancient referring to Jehovah God. John wrote in this way to describe God’s greatness. Apostle John was very close to Jesus and could describe what He felt. John was so close to Jesus that he could write about His sovereignty and greatness. If we decided to know Jesus, we will also know the Father. To know the Father, we must know who Jesus is.

Jesus is not part of creation, but the Creator, and He is the verb, the living word and action of the Father. The Father decides and the Son executes. Why should we be ignorant of what the Father feels? Beloved, we have to seek for eternity. When we die our mortal bodies rotten and we decide if our bodies are going to resurrect for eternity with Christ or for eternal condemnation. Jesus is the Father’s action. He executes the Father’s request. This world does not belong to us, it belongs to the Father. God seeks for men and women who know the verb, His Son. Not knowing Him is to only subsist in this world, like just passing by not making a difference or doing nothing useful or effective. That is not living. The Father wants and delights in performing great things and sends the power of His word to establish His sovereignty, restore justice and punish His enemies. Jesus is who executes all this. Let us live in Him. Whoever turns against us, comes against Jehovah. The Father gives the order and we obey. So, Jesus has been there always, without Him nothing was made. John 1:3 Jesus has always been there with the Father. Let us recognize the times. Jesus is the Lord of heaven, one with the Father, God with us, and the verb. He transforms and has power. God died through Jesus for us and His eye is looking upon us throughout the world to bless the righteous. Jesus is life and He died for me so I should know how to live. If I ordain my life in Him, my life will be better. He is the light. John 1:9 Many want to live this life without having the light of Christ. How could it be possible? Many turn off the light of Christ in their lives. We decide if we turn it on or off. We should worry about our life with God. We should stop what wants to destroy us. How can we live deceived? Let us have an intimate relationship with Christ, know Him closely for He has called us. As we look at God, we can understand that He is the only, eternal God. And we can recognize the purpose of our life. I have a life in God and I know I’m here to love. Why did God choose you? Each one of us has a path to overtake. Sin brings darkness to our life and Jesus wants to come in as light. He knows us well. The world does not know Him, but we could get to know Him. It’s not what the world teaches us. Only in Him we find the truth and the life. Learn how to live in Him. Because spiritual death comes slowly, watch yourself with all your strength and senses. We must say to the Lord: Father deliver me and forgive me from my sins, I come to you to live in you. AMEN.
