The Lord needs me, I am willing to be guided by Him

TOPIC: “The Lord needs me, I am willing to be guided by Him” Luke 22:10-13 Jesus said: "… Then he will show you a large, furnished upper room. Make preparations there …” We must understand that the Holy Spirit will guide us each day, in each step of our lives. Then we should not be moved from here to there by other people or for other motives. If we are not guided by the Lord others will divert our lives and we will begin to trip. It is to know that some one who loves us, and chose us to be His people will guide us according to what has been established. We sometimes complicate our lives when we want to do things by ourselves. We begin to seek in dreams and in those mystic things of which it is necessary to be very careful. What we have known is that the Holy Spirit is who will guide us. Romans 8:14 We must understand that He who has called us is who will sustain us, that as we walk in God we will see His strength. We sometimes seek to help God, but instead of helping we make things worse. It’s simple; He wants each one of us to walk according to His direction. There is nothing better for those who trust in the Lord than time, because this will declare everything. We must not seek how to please men because then we will lose God’s guidance. Those who trust the Lord will live resting in God completely. Jesus is who guides our life according to His will for us and it is not how we want so that we will not trip. So we can sustain ourselves in this life which is dangerous and slippery like ice. This life is difficult and we will not receive any applause from it. We must be careful in our walk so that we can rest in God. Luke 19:30 Jesus knows everything; he will never deceive us, yet men can deceive us. For this reason we can only trust in God whom has called us and we will go wherever He takes us. We have to know what Jesus knew. Jesus knew how to walk; He knew what was going to happen. We have to give all our strength to the one who guides us and leads us. Jesus arrived in our life to lead it, to guide us. Jesus told his disciples to go to the front village and there they would find a young donkey which was reserved from the eternity for the day in which the Master would ride on without any glory or spectacle. We are also waiting for the same Master so that He will do His will in our lives. We can also say, "Because the Lord needs me". How great it is to know that the Lord needs us! The Lord needs me. The devil wants us to believe the opposite, that we are not useful for the Lord. Beloved, let us not be mistaken, let us not be selfish, let us not give ourselves to God just for a moment. We sometimes play charity for a moment to free our conscience. We only do charity once a year. But, he needs the righteous man continuously and He will continue to use us as He pleases according to His will each day. If we hide and lock ourselves in we become lukewarm and He cannot use us. Jesus watched his disciples every day to know in what way the Father needed them. It is good to know that Jesus needs our life. There is no need to hide. Surely Jesus had sowed; He has done something good in that man’s life who He had asked to borrow the donkey. Then, if He has done so much good to our lives, we must respond as the owner of the donkey. We must know our moment, our day, because it is in that moment when Jesus will become great in this world. Jesus wants to perform miracles and He needs us to do it. We must be willing to do what He is asking from us. Are you? Zachariah 9:9 The Lord sent His disciples so that the prophecy would be fulfilled. There will be a specific moment in our lives when Jesus will call upon us.

There are moments in our lives that determine what our tomorrow will be. It is necessary to have a willing heart for God and to comply with His will. When God chooses He does it from the beginning even before we were in our mothers womb, we are marked by God. We know that we are chosen, chosen by what there is in our heart. Jesus needed a young donkey, what is difficult and complicated in men is when they do not seek to be guided by God. If you live thinking about healings and prosperity, etc., and not in what God wants to lead you, it would be rejecting God’s request. It is having a clean heart for that moment of God’s request, so we can respond, because the Lord needs us. When someone is used by the devil to confuse us and tells us that we are no good, this stuns us. But the Lord needs us. We have to be willing. The men and women, who willingly allow the Lord to guide them, will have great lives! The great day of the Easter dinner arrived. Blessed were John and Peter who Jesus called to find a place where He would eat with His disciples, not because He had preference with them but because they were willing. Jesus would institute this day in history. There Peter and John were willing to do what Jesus requested, for just one reason, for love. Some cannot do anything because they don't love. We may seek for thousands of reasons, but the first one is because we don't love. That day was fulfilled. Two men were to prepare that dinner. Peter and John had different personalities, but both walked with the One who did the work. They were together because they were united in one single thought; Jesus needed them and they loved him. The work belongs to the Father and walking in it is the best thing. Let us receive the instructions and let us ask: "what do You want with us?” And then God will direct us. Jesus is the only one that knows what is perfect for our lives. He has the widest knowledge of all things. He knows what He wants for our lives. We have so many arguments, we believe that we know so much and we give ourselves the instructions. Jesus knew and ordered according to what was written. Those who have not known the Lord cannot guide themselves. The room is for the guest. God’s will was to be instituted for an entire life in spite of everything. That man had gave all he owned, his person to Jesus' disposition. Peter and John got what Jesus needed. We must willingly give to God. We receive His order with great pleasure. We believe Him and we will give everything of our lives. The Lord needs us, so we should be as John and Peter, disciples willing to be guided by the Master because our life or our death is in His hands, and not in ours. Amen.
