TOPIC: “Do not let the voice of Pharaoh disturbs the voice of God in us” Exodus 8:24-27 God works with our lives and He does according to how we respond. If we take him for granted, it will be bad for us! Because God doesn't stop, what He says is going to happen will happen regardless of men. After all, the creature loses and not the Creator. Nobody will stop the promises which He has made for our lives in His Gospel, He will do it. We must learn to live the easy things and the difficult things, but never with rebellion, or anger, or annoyance but with meekness and gratitude, because Jehovah will always do. God began to deal with Pharaoh, King of Egypt and would see how he would respond to him. The Lord knew that Pharaoh’s heart was hard, arrogant, and powerful and was dealing with him slowly. God wants to awake what is inside of us so that we die to it in order to please God. Pharaoh wanted to present himself as a god and began to challenge the one and only true God. Pharaoh didn't take into account that there is only one God. We sometimes think that we are small gods. Pharaoh had a powerful nation, Egypt. He had wealth, sorcerer, and armies and also had the Hebrews as slaves, God’s nation. It appeared that Pharaoh had everything here on earth. But, Moses had God. Do you have God? It is important for us to have Him as our God. We have to know God and for this we have the Word, the Holy Scriptures where He teaches us who He is. Pharaoh put all his trust in what surrounded him. We must not put our strength and hope in what we have because perhaps today we are well, but tomorrow we’re not. God is who moves the earth, then we must let God move us in His will; we must place ourselves where God wants us. God had purposes with Pharaoh. God has everything in order. We sometimes become desperate, but we must learn how to live as Moses lived. There are things we must live and suffer in order to obtain victory, stand where God wants us to stand, in the precise moment. But, since we are desperate and we don't understand the process of God we become rebellious and we want God to deal with us in a different way. Life is hard and produces changes in people to nevermore be the same. Let us never have any reservations with God, let us understand His voice and not follow our own desires. When we arrive at God’s house we must not come with a life which is mixed with this world. We think that we can live in two waters and this is not possible. Pharaoh began to see the plagues sent by God little by little. A war began with Moses chest to chest, man to man, but Pharaoh was fighting with God. Moses fought for what God wanted. He sanctified himself day by day; we must live this way also because we represent God. The sad thing is that men instead of becoming more sensitive before God they become more stubborn, clumsier and don't react. A life with little sensibility drives us away from God, we stop seeing God, one doesn't react, we stop feeling and later regret will come! Pharaoh became rebellious with God. He told Moses to make sacrifice to God in his land and God called Moses to make sacrifice in the mount. Men sometimes believe that we can try to make deals, or negotiate with the Lord, but in God we cannot try to make deals because God is and will always be. If we want to please God for our life and be effective for God, for our loved ones to prevail and have the power of God, we have to move away from earthly things. The world, its sins and evilness will degrade us after we have been cleansed by Jesus. Mundane things do not allow us

to reach God. The Church doesn't participate of earthly things but rather what is mundane arrives at the House of God to seek Him and change. If God doesn't accept what comes from Satan then why must we accept it. Let us have no part with Satan. If we want to please God there is no half way but we must work and live a life in God completely. We must not allow the fire of this world enter in the fire of our sacrifice for God. Jehovah promises that He will redeem us. If we sacrifice in what is earthly Jehovah will not take care of us. But those who yearn to remount with God must fight against darkness until the day that Jesus comes to get us. The land of Egypt was rotten, destroyed. Where was the glory of Egypt? How fleeting and slight life is! Pharaoh underestimated evilness. This is the way we are. It seemed that it was the end of his stubbornness that he had been moved to pity by his own. If we don't love we will not have compassion for others but only for our own ambitions. A true believer never thinks about himself. We sometimes prefer to obey the Pharaohs requirements, the requirements that this world wants to impose on us before God’s requirements. Pharaoh wanted to show he was clever, but Moses was clear. Let us be clear about what God has for our lives. It is not the confusion of this world. To move the power of God we have to be willing to keep away from all that is worldly. Pharaoh speaks to us, but the Holy Spirit that is in us tells us don't do it. Let us know God as Moses knew Him. Pharaoh wanted to upset the voice of God in Moses. The voice of God said that they had to walk three days to make sacrifice to Jehovah. Moses had known clearly what was in Pharaoh’s mind. We must learn how to recognize the mind of the wicked. We should know well who the world is and who the God whom we serve is. Why must we offer our God Jehovah the abominations of this world? Moses had decided to live in purity with God. Have we decided to be pure with God? Those who know God know what He detests. If we know it, it is because the Holy Spirit in us lets us know. It was impossible for Moses to offer God sacrifice surrounded by idolatry. Purity does not mix with the worldly things. If we have decided to live in purity, then we should hate what God hates. The more we know God the more we will hate what He hates. Jehovah hates idolatry, it displeases Him. Where there is ungodliness God will not be there. Nowadays some pretend to have sacred things where there is abomination. Men and women who know God do not make sacrifices in what God hates. We must not sell the purity that God has given us, let us not become Pharaoh because then God will take away what He has given us and later will remove us. To be removed from the place that God puts us is not necessarily death but to be disregarded from God. When God leaves all blessings are discontinued. What is sacred does not mix with the ungodliness. Those who know God know where condemnation is. For Moses all Egypt was abomination. They adored sheep, goats, etc. Why go where we can be destroyed, where there is abomination if God is not there and even the angels don’t go there? Our pride, to obey our sinful flesh is abomination to Jehovah. How will we take out what is evil from our house if there is evilness in us? The sacred things are done in sanctity, in sublimity and not in the midst of this world. May God deliver us from mixing with the abomination which Jehovah hates, because then pain will come. I will be like Moses, and not like Pharaoh. Amen.
