I will be guarded in the day of Jehovah’s anger

TOPIC: “I will be guarded in the day of Jehovah’s anger” Zephaniah 2:3 Those who seek Jehovah will be guarded on the day of anger. In this life everything is vain, everything will pass; our jobs, a car, a house. But God will never pass away, He is not history, He is the same today, yesterday and for the centuries. He will always be present in all He has created. This is the reason why God is the only one that can deliver all who please him from the day of trial. Our greatest desire should be to please God because if we are alive it is because God has given us life, He is God and he is pleased in healing and delivering us. All material things that we can possess passes from hand to hand as the years go by and the ages, all earthly things are not given to us forever. We must not hold on to anything here on earth since nothing is forever. Loving money is bad because it transforms lives, it makes people silly, they deviate from the faith and this brings a lot of pain. 1 Timothy 6:10 Nothing of this earth is ours, today we have, but tomorrow we have nothing, everything shall pass. We should then weigh the essence of what life is, and then we will give God our hearts, to be able to enjoy it completely in Him. We should know the character of God. When we do, that knowledge becomes in us a conviction that delivers us and no longer will we sin. When God is inside of us those who know us also want to know the God whom we serve. The day we became Christians we began to know the character of this God of love, great, glorious and also fearful. The more we know God’s character the better it will go for us and He will become our Jehovah "Jireh" (Supplier), "Rohi" (Shepherd), "Shama" ( Present), "Shalom" (Peace), etc. That it is the character of God. The more we know him; we will be able to walk better in this earth. The best thing is to know Jehovah, the powerful, glorious and fearful God. Everyone has their own character; our particularity distinguishes us from others. God is distinguished in His sovereignty, in His greatness. From this reality is how we should know Him. If we decide to know God more there weren’t be so many problems in our lives. Many problems come because there is not much dedication to know God more profoundly. It is necessary to know God because life is difficult. Knowing God is the greatest thing. The more we decide to know Him; He will begin to move on our behalf. When we feel limited God is waiting for us to take just one step that we move in faith, only a step of faith and He will do the rest. God has always come on our behalf because we have moved in faith. He wants us to know that He will do. God wants us to know how great and powerful He is. God is eternal. Knowing God is understanding how He will act, what He feels, it is knowing what is whispered in Heaven. He wants us to live in faith, that we are able to sense what the Holy Spirit wants. God doesn't get confused; He is not moved by feelings. We must know God, and then we will start living like him. The problem is that some begin to live as they desire. They’re no longer acquainted with God because in them there is no humbleness. A humble man recognizes that he lacks strength. We must not feel self-sufficient before God; if we are it is because we have not known His character. We depend on God completely when we know Him. When there is humbleness and meekness in a person we can see his faith.

When we do not know God we live with our own strength. Then, who can deliver us from the day of God’s anger? Outside the church is when we really show who God is. When we decide to know God we will love him. 1 Peter 4:17, 18 If the righteous get saved with difficulty, we can see clearly why it is important for us to understand God’s character. Judgment will come and it begins in the house of God. All judgment will come from Heaven. We cannot complain about what we have to suffer. James 3:13 Those who seek God and seek to know His character each day will become wise and experts demonstrating with their good behavior, their work done in humbleness that they fear God and are conscious of their great responsibility. Our responsibility with God should come first. One day we will all have to face Christ’s court of justice and answer for all we have done. 2 Corinthians 5: 10 Not complying with our responsibility because we don’t know God would be a great problem in our lives. Our behavior is the key because it will say what is really inside of us. What we have known and learned, the way in which we behave ourselves, our deeds, will show if there is faith in us. According to our faith will be our deeds. Our fruits will declare how much faith we have in our lives, or if there is no faith at all. Our fruit is our faith. This fruit is eternal. Nowadays many lack of good behavior. When in us there is a wise meekness, we cry out for forgiveness from God. But, there is no wise meekness in those who do not know God. When a meek person is surprised he or she will die from shame. The most complicated thing in us is our soul. Our soul’s lives confused, for this reason Jesus came to save our souls, to save our lost soul. It is necessary to see the filthiness that there is in our soul and discards it because we are meek and wise, acquainted with God’s character. We must discard all filthiness in our lives. This world lives in every type of mental, moral and physical impurity. But God is holy, three times holy, and all that is ungodliness separates us from Him, then death and destruction will come. All impurity moves us away from God, and if this happens it is because we don't know God. The abundance of malice, the old man's residuals when we were impious men must be taken out. Ephesians 4: 22 We must love all that is righteous, all that is true, we must love God’s character and have respect that one day we will have to face Him. When sin comes out of us it will only harm us and those who surround us. Let us be gentle, meek, and simple for the Word of God. When we do not have meekness we do not receive the Word. If there is no meekness the Word cannot penetrate in us. Arrogance will impede it. But, the implanted Word can save our soul. Only those with a docile and meek spirit can experience the maximum benefit of the Scriptures. In order for the Word to be implanted it is necessary to have a meek spirit. Isaiah 66:2 The Word is a sacred deposit for those who are born again. It is the manual of all the good that we have in this Earth to lead our lives where we have to go. It is what God uses in our new birth to teach us. It delivers us from all the damage of this life. If we know it nobody will deceive us. The Word of God cannot be changed by anyone and it can heal our soul. The Devil doesn't want our souls to be saved. We will be guarded in the day of Jehovah’s anger because the righteous live taking care of their life every day. Amen.
