God has made us kings and priests for Him

TOPIC: “God has made us kings and priests for Him” Revelation 5:1-14 The more we know Jesus, the more strength and power we will have. How important we are for Him! If we could only understand how important we are for God we wouldn’t live under the terrible circumstances of this world. He loved us, so then we are very important for Him. But sometimes we don’t understand it because our minds are limited, filled with so many arguments and thoughts. God’s love is what made Jesus come to Earth. He chose us among the weak and made us strong kings and priests. For this Jesus paid the price, so that we could be kings and priests for Him. V. 10 In a given moment we can seem strong, but our nature is fragile, weak. God makes us strong so that we can become kings and priests. In Jesus’ death and by means of his resurrection we are able to be kings and priest, this does not come from men but from God. And all this has been possible through a death and a resurrection that has brought so much good to our lives. To believe has to be a way of life in us. We should live our lives believing Him. It should be our rudiment. There must not be any doubt in us. Jesus' body was beaten in order for us to become his children and reign forever with Him. Exodus 19:6 1 Peter 2:5 We are living stones. The body of Christ was marked and beaten in order to end with what ever comes to destroy us. We are accepted by God, we are cleansed by means of our beloved Jesus. Jesus never expects us to pay Him anything, but to adore Him with all our strength. Revelation 1:6 The Father was the one who made us kings and priests. When the Father looks at us He sees us as kings and priests. In His body Jesus took the price in order to present us before the Father as kings and priests. When we are able to recognize and see how great and powerful Jesus is then we can praise, adore, glorify and live in sanctity for Him. The determination to live in sanctity is our decision. If Jesus took all condemnation, then, why must we sin? We must understand that if we are kings and priests it is for God and not for this world. To participate of Jesus' life we know that we have to be sacred. In the roll of the Book there were secrets for us. Vs. 4 Those secrets were going to be revealed to John who stood before God. There was much of what we had to know. In that book there are secrets that will be discovered which we must learn and understand. The book was in the hands of the Father and John saw it. The Father was surrounded by the elderly, archangels, etc. And no one could open the book. An angel was speaking and proclaiming, “Who is worthy of opening it so that it is revealed”? The angel called on the one who was worthy and had the absolute right of opening it. The events of the end of times were written in that book. The Father revealed it to John who was chosen. The plans of God are in those books. All this was in the mind and in the heart of the Father; He wanted us to know it. They were searching for the one who was capable to read it and to reveal it. None of the millions of angels, the four beasts or the elderly there were capable of revealing it or reading it. What makes us desperate in this earth? How small and limited can our mind be, instead of being full with the knowledge of God! Nobody was worth of opening the book because no one could shed blood for us. No one was qualified. John could understand how important it was for those books to be opened. And when he saw how insufficient he was he started to weep. It wasn’t for the Father to read it, either, since He did not pay the price for us. He was sitting in his throne. God is God, and the owner and Lord; He is the one we should fear. If the roll was not read then God’s plan would not be carried out for the well-being of humanity. It would not have

been known about the protection of the people of God, or that there would be a trial for the wicked or a place called Hell. God does justice in the evilness of men. John’s concern was that there was no one who could reveal the secrets. But, it was revealed to Jacob that a lion would come from Judah, (Genesis 49:9) the lion that was qualified to open the book and to untie the stamps because of His victory in His death and resurrection. That lion is Christ, the Lord. For His victory, for His absolute obedience in going to the cross, He is entitled to reveal the plans of God. Only He has the privilege of controlling all the things that are going to happen. Jesus, the Lion of Judah and the root of David; glory to the Son of God! Isaiah 11:6-11 The Lion would appear with that power. John sees the lamb in such a sublime moment. That lamb seemed immolated among millions and millions of angels. He also had the signs in His body, without any beauty, the image of Jesus' sacrifice, visible in the celestial places. A sacrificed body came out; Heaven doesn't forget that Jesus was immolated for us. For that reason the Father listens to us, He loves us, blesses us and He makes us kings and priests. We can not forget when there is a problem that Jesus paid the price for us. He wants us always to look to Heaven and always see His work. He had seven horns that symbolized His power and absolute authority. Vs. 6 No one can underestimate Him. He had seven eyes, His vision, His omniscience and the fullness of the Holy Spirit upon Him. The 24 elders and the four beasts fell before Him. The divine honors are given to the lamb. The golden vials with the censer of gold with the prayers of those that are consecrated to God were opened up. V. 8 It was sacrificial death with a purpose. He was not an accident or a hero, but a sacrifice to restore the lost revelation between God and men. That was the purpose and the result for our lives. It returned us to God! Jesus' death lets us see clearly that this was a universal death for the benefit of all, not only for the Jews. It was a very effective death. In His death He made us kings; we are royalty and children of God. This death always causes an effect for those who believe. There is a new affiliation of the grace for all those who want it. By means of Jesus' death we can go to the Father; for that reason we are priests, sacred nation, people acquired by God. 1 Peter 2:9 He gave us the victory. We will reign in the millennium on this land as kings and priests. Revelation 20:6 The deeds of Jesus in His death are spoken about because the richness, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing belong to Him. He is our Lord and Savior! Everything should glorify God. His will is executed in the universe. We are his children who prostrated around His throne. Let us always praise Him. We thank God for His ineffable gift. Amen.
