TOPIC: “I will tremble Before God When Jehovah Speaks to Me” Exodus 9:14 Romans 9:17 When God speaks to us, depending on how we act we will be rewarded. Greater problems begin when men walk away from God, they loose strength. A person who moves away from God looses his best friend. Living in this world without God is annoying; there is nothing in it that can produce permanent happiness or well-being. Those who say they love us will put a price on us tomorrow. When men walk away they don’t want to hear God’s voice because they are no longer interested. We need the voice of God in our lives because with it is the only way that we will know how to move and walk, it is convenient. In many occasions men feel more powerful than God; they rise up against Him, profaning sacred things. They want to do things their own way, and they even believe that they can do things better than God. Roman 9:17 The excess of grace makes us think that Jehovah will not reject us, but it is us who make Jehovah rejects us. God is not interested in doing this. Pharaoh was a great powerful king; he made the decision to kill and to give life to whoever he wanted because he governed as he pleased. Jacob's children were shepherds and this job didn't please the Egyptians. Being Pharaoh that great strong king, Jehovah would make it known that He was the powerful and great God. The people of Israel came to be slaves for the Egyptians, but God was their God and He was going to exalt himself over Pharaoh. God had promised them that He would liberate them from slavery. We should never focus on men but on God. To interfere with the people of Israel was to interfere with God. Men are not allowed to debate with God and judge by their own wisdom, or doubt of God’s righteous ways. For a long time the pharaoh dared to harden his heart, but later it was Jehovah who hardened his heart. A heart that is hardened by Jehovah will become obstinate in doing whatever he thinks. Pharaoh could not come out of this great problem but rather persisted in going against God’s will. At the end he went through the worst and this is what happens when we try to fight against God. To come against God’s people is like coming against God Himself because He takes care of His people. Those who are meek will always have the Lord on their side. Pharaoh was not facing a Moses who was common, but the chosen one, who was separated, loved and cared by God. God was with Moses and Moses was in God. When we love God with all our heart God is in us, and we don't walk as a common person. God will never seem small. We should never think that God will become small on account of our whims. We must see it that He becomes great upon us. God will never allow anyone to make Him seem small. God had declared that Israel was His nation and that He would become great among them. Jehovah made a covenant with them. God had promised Abraham that Israel was going to be His nation. In His eternity He will be glorified and He will fulfill His purposes. We should never get involved in God’s purposes. God calls us and He chooses to bless us. Pharaoh wanted to seize everything that belonged to God. When God calls and blesses men He doesn’t care about the circumstances. The unfaithful were able to recognize that God was among the people of Israel. When God calls for Him, He doesn't call to exalt men but to put upon them

burdens, tears, pain, and despair, to put them in the gap, because this pleased Him so that they would weep before Him and He would answer them. Jehovah calls a nation to glorify Himself and to become great upon them. This was a nation cared for by God. Anyone who resists the power of God will become like Pharaoh. We must not seek for God to beg from us because we are the ones who have to beg to God. We need God to make Himself present in every area of our lives. Pharaoh didn't know God’s intentions. God was going to show His greatness. The people of Israel could seem to be a weak nation, but they had a great God. A nation can seem weak, but if we believe, God is powerful to answer. If we don't know how to wait in God we will disgrace everything, because God will do. By Pharaoh filling himself with wickedness and pride, he stopped hearing God’s voice. Jesus went to the cross, they crucified Him. He has seen hope in us. Jesus takes care of us, He loves our souls, He delivers us from evil, then, why must pride visit us? Pride and arrogance go together. The humble wait for Jehovah to bless them and favor them. Pride destroys us and doesn't allow us to hear what God is saying. That nation didn't belong to any king and wasn’t governed by anyone, it belonged to God. We belong to Jehovah. God speaks and warns Pharaoh before making fair judgments. God speaks and those who know how to hear will know how to respond and how to act. We must tremble before God when Jehovah speaks! It is better to humble ourselves so that we will not lose. God speaks so that we will fear to His Word. Those who fear the word of God will show it as they walk and act. They will see good days in their lives. When God speaks those who recognize his voice will live in order. When we hear the voice of God we should say "Yes and Amen" and learn to fear Him. Those who fear the Word of God know what they have to do. Those who fear are wise and don't have any losses but will gain a lot. It was not Moses or Aaron who was speaking but God. When God speaks we must hurry to do what God has commanded us to do. Those who don't obey expose their loved ones to pain and suffering, but those who fear God’s voice hide in times of judgment. God speaks before He sends His judgment, but sometimes we don’t listen to His voice. When we hear God’s voice we must act immediately. Those who fear listen and don’t do as Pharaoh did. The nation of Egypt was totally destroyed. Are there not eyes to see and ears to hear? When there is fear of God we escape from where the judgment is. It is better to walk in fear and escape from judgment. We must not be in those judgments. Jehovah vomits those who are lukewarm and these will not have God’s favor in their lives. Sometimes we stay where there is evilness and sin and Jehovah hates sin. There are so many reasons to defend ourselves, gossip and drown God’s voice! Sometimes, as time goes by, we grow farther from God and we take His word for granted. Those who do not keep God’s word in their hearts abandon everything, and this becomes dangerous. Sometimes we endanger our loved ones because we abandon the word of God in our hearts, we leave it in dangerous places and this could bring death. What do we rest in? We don't resolve anything by just approaching the altar but we have to be willing to take a stand. Rebellion lets time go by and the person doesn’t escape from the dangerous things which we must protect ourselves from. Let us work hard and be constantly in prayer and seeking God so that when judgment comes it will not destroy our loved ones. There are pains that we must live through, but God is our refuge. It depends on us if we decide to do or not to do. Amen.
