Topic: "He Knows My Path; He Will Test Me, And I Will Turn Out As Gold" Job 23:10 When we go through our trials successfully, then we grow more knowledgeable. In many occasions we don't know what is inside of us. Our acts will prove what is inside of us and not the trials. God wants to work in you and me because we are His children. Job’s desire was to live before God to be a righteous man, but God wanted to work with him. For this reason God tested him. God wants to work in our lives, He hasn’t stopped. There are things that God wants us to learn. An ALLOY is when different materials fuse to form one. In our lives there are many things that fuse, but in us there must only be found gold and not scum. The scum is worthless material that comes to blend in with the gold and it must be removed with intense fire. Even when there are many things inside of us, only the gold must shine. Throughout the whole process of our lives it will be known if there is gold in our lives or not. We can’t have a mixture of other materials. We must be gold, that’s why it is necessary to remove what has been added to this prime material. It is God who removes from us what is needed in order to be gold. We have our justice, but God’s justice is the greatest and for this we must pray and carry out his will. God worked in Job, He knew Job’s capability. To know God is to tremble. It is God who is with us. He will break us the way He wants to and until He wants to. God works in us until He sees the final outcome. God worked with Job as with all men or women who want His blessing. God has not become tired of working in our lives and He will not stop. When our trials arrive we can blame others, but if we live a sacred life, when these trials come, God will show us a way out. Let us learn how to see God work in our lives in meekness because, if we don’t, gossip will overcome us. Each one decides how he will walk and this will decide our future. When our trials have passed we will be more profound thanks to our trials. The gold will substitute, it will dominate everything else. Nothing can dominate gold, it can melt but it will not disappear. However, fire will make the scum disappear. If we have a profound relationship with God, we live in Him and He will live in us as He did in Job. It is good to cry when we are going through trials. Our struggles will continue until we find God and understand that we are not as He wants us to be. God begins to form us His way. If Job wouldn’t have found God he wasn’t going to be able to present his complaints before Him. God takes care of us and brings us into great trials and nobody can interfere with us or touch us. In the process our scum is removed; God protects us. He knew what Job was lacking. This is the way it will be with each and one of us. The problem comes when we seek for someone to comfort us during our trials, and it is so simple to humble ourselves in our loneliness before God. It is the only thing that can produce well-being in our lives. Let us seek God. After all, Job was going to learn. God would bring out the gold in him; there would be no other material, no scum. This is what God wants with us. We have to learn how to walk, move, what to achieve and know how far to go. Job had to go through his trials, his interior process, in his sanctification. How much scum is there in us! It is quietly there, if it wouldn’t have been because of the trail, it would not be uncovered. We have a long life to sanctify ourselves. This road is not for

everyone but for those who decide that without sanctity nobody will see the Lord. Hebrews 12: 14 When God comes for His people, He will come for those men and women who shine as gold. We cannot leave with any kind of scum, for this reason we have to go through the process that we have to live. The Word of God is what nourishes us so that in the day of our trials we will be victorious. Job was not afraid of his illness. He knew that God would test his path and that he would be pure as gold. How much must we love God! Let us be willing to love Him as Job did. God has given us the word, but we must guard it more than food, be careful of our pleasures, of everything that fills us only for moments. Let us prefer to lose everything before we disobey God. God gives commandments to men. When we are able to love the Lord nobody needs to push us. Here no one or anything can make us happy. What God wants to do, who can change it? Trials come to burn the scum. God’s plan is unalterable, nobody can change them. God knows everything, He doesn't have counselors. He wants the best for us. He determines what we must live and nobody can take away our blessings. Why do we fight and contend with God? He doesn’t need our permission to work in our lives. We must live in humbleness. He wants the best things for you, after the trials He will give you the best things. We need a powerful God to conquer our enemy, for this reason in the moment of our trials He wants the scum to come out of us. God is the one who tests us and He is the one who decides and says: “It is enough already”. It is necessary to remain firm in this road. Job treasured the Word. God speaks to us throughout His Word. Let us be capable of loving the Word of God and see that God moves His lips in each verse. Do we look into God’s Word to consider it? Do we open it to edify or to contend? It was written for each moment of our lives. It is not for contending. In each person there is a treatment by God. No one can explain the trials. We look around and we don’t look at what’s inside. Our only solution is God. In our trials we must go to God. He has never left us, but we certainly have, because we close the Word of God and our knees are paralyzed to pray. What Job had to live was determined by God, and God has also determined our lives. Sometimes our trials are situations of the present that we didn't work well. We cannot live our trials with disputes. What has God determined for our lives? He will implement it. God knows all the imperfections that are in us and because of his love for us He urges us to grow. What is stagnant is rotten water and parasites. The day of our afflictions the pleasures are removed, we feel dryness and interior darkness. Then we are stripped away of all the imperfections and virtue is created in us that we must have. Greediness becomes simplicity, the anger in contentment, and we thank God for what we have. To be knowledgeable in life, trials are necessary to have humility, simplicity, joy and peace. We cannot understand our trials, but let us trust in Him who will help us and if He wants to He can stop them, but He won’t. Nobody can explain our trials, but let us trust that He will take us to victory. Let us not look at the suffering but rather trust God who controls all our life for the best. Amen.
