BIBLICAL STUDY #520 - CHURCHES IN THE HOUSES TUESDAY, DECEMBER 4-10, 2007

Topic: “I will be Irreprehensible; I Have a Song AND I Adore God Here On Earth." Revelations 14:1-5 If something the devil seeks it is to be adored. We are the point of attack so that words of praise do not come out of our mouth. The case is that if one doesn't praise God, then praise is given to the enemy of God and of the church; this means that one speaks with rebelliousness, anger, etc. Then, what was truly a song and praise in our mouths will turn into hatred, anger and evilness. Men and women who can sing, praise and play instruments for God are needed. Worship has to be a part of the people of God. The 144,000 are those who will rise in the time of the tribulation to worship. Let us see what we have to suffer and go through in order to get where we want. We must understand that the Holy Spirit came to live in us completely and eternally. But when we sin and lie He can no longer live in us, but rather He leaves. Then, He dies spiritually and the power escapes from our lives. If the Holy Spirit is in us there is power (Acts 1: 8), but when it isn’t things begin to look bad and it just gets worse. People looked for the Teacher to obtain the bread and the fish, the food and the miracles that He could perform. Naturally, because only He can give everything, but when the disciples met with Jesus it wasn’t the only thing they were looking for. They knew who they were following. As the years go by, if the Holy Spirit who guides us leaves, we will then commit the same stupidities we did before. It is terrible, after having and knowing the Holy Spirit in our lives, to return to displease God. People walk behind Jesus because there is something to look for. We should follow him for what He is. In many occasions we do what the Jews of Jesus' time did, we go after something. Beloved, let us not go after the bread and the fish, but after the Holy Spirit, because Jesus went to the cross so that we could have Him. Life subjects us to trials that, at the end, show what we are really looking for behind Jesus. We have to go through different problems and situations, but there is a God who we can get to know, who is caring, who blesses and who listens to us. He will always be there to take care of us, protect us and deliver us from all evil. If there is anything that causes us much pain, for the Father and our beloved Jesus who gave it all it is even more painful. This is the way the one who lives in us feels, when He sees our doubts, concerns, the little faith that leads us to underestimate the power and the greatness of God. Chapter 7: 1-4 At the end of times there will be four angels to terminate the power that is in the surface which is one of the plagues. There will be 144,000 who will be marked, protected. The earth can be condemned with the trials of God, but those who are marked will not go through those trials. We live under the grace of God; we have everything to gain, to possess. Then, what do we fear? Those 144,000 will be very courageous men who will be under the sentence of the trials. The church will no longer be in the earth. For this reason the Holy Spirit will no longer be present or the grace that we currently enjoy. There will be a manifestation of Christ upon the earth in that moment. With all these judgments upon the earth, they will have to be very courageous. They will not yield before the antichrist who will have the power to allow to obtain food and work and they will no longer have the help of the Holy Spirit, or any promise from the grace of God that we now have. Heaven won’t be there either to bless them. These 144,000 will teach the Gospel with persecution. Their seal will protect them; they will be protected from any harm that can come to them. Nothing will harm them because they will have to preach the Word.

When something is sealed it is because is possessed by the person who has it. They will be sealed because Jehovah is their God, they will be separated by the living God, they will be guaranteed that they are chosen. Jesus left this written in Matthew 24 to escape for their lives. Even knowing that the people of Israel were not going to love him, with the Father's love always so great and powerful, Jesus will produce a great tribulation so that there will be salvation for them, the Jews. Those 144,000 will be sealed in the forehead; they will be under God’s special protection although they won't be filled with the Holy Spirit. What they will have is a conviction that the Messiah was taken to the cross. And this will be a great shame, for that reason they will take advantage of their opportunity in the little time they will have to preach the gospel and they will rise with a great effort. God will watch out for them so they won’t be killed because they will be the voices that God will use; they will have the company of the Lamb of Christ. They will sing before the living creatures and before the 24 elders and no one will be able to learn their song. They will refrain from idolatry, immortality and will follow the Lamb in obedience and unconditional devotion, in delivery. They will be the first of the crop during the period of the tribulation who will arrive in the millennium to populate the earth, those who did not accept the lie of a mere man, the antichrist, to praise. If they’re able to conquer in the great tribulation, much more can be expected from us who live under the grace of God! There won’t be falseness or deceit in their mouths. That is what God is seeking from us. Psalm 32:2 They had no faults. When the Father asked for a sacrifice, there could not be any defects. They were created to sing songs to the Father and to the Lamb. Ephesians 1:4 We have to be sacred and faultless. Colossians 1:22 We should be irreprehensible because we have a song and we worship God here on the earth. For that reason we cannot speak offensively, because we sing songs to the third Heaven. The devil wants to prevent us from reaching the third Heaven, but the Father waits for it with anxiety. The church should be glorious with songs in their mouths. Those who follow the beast will have their trial, but we will have a new song. We will have to live different experiences, but in the moment of prayer let us worship God. We must not contaminate ourselves. The enemy wants to remove the song and the worship to destroy our relationship with God. Those who do not praise God do not feel anything because the devil has destroyed them. Let us guard what we have. Amen.
