TOPIC: “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold" Matthew 24:12 "Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth?" Luke 18:8 These two verses are fulfilled more or less at the same time and they support one another. It is something that is taking place in these days, there won't be faith", but we have believed the Almighty, Jesus. Psalm 72:17 says: “His name will be forever. It will perpetuate as long as the Sun lasts.” This prophetic psalm speaks of the Messiah. It majestically says that “His name will last forever.” Many desire that his name will last forever; those who raised the Tower of Babel thought it would stand as a monument and would make history. Babylon no longer exist, the Roman Empire either, there is only a slight memory. The great temples of Greece, where the gods were, also no longer exist. Everything is brief, everything we struggle for one day will pass. The big leaders of the world struggle to dominate, but one day they will be gone and we will not remember their names. But there is a name that has been given to the one whom you and I serve; He will never cease to be, JESUS. In the Garden of Eden there was an eternal spring, there was a small part of the Gospel. Spurgeon said: The woman's seed will crush the head of the serpent (this was spoken in the Garden of Eden). At Mount Sinai the people were given a law to sacrifice animals; that blood shed would take away their sins. The one who allowed all these things is the Lord whom I (the pastor) serve. Some stop coming to church because they encounter problems and when you run into them they say: "I love the Lord, but in my own way." Although the years pass the name of the Lord is forever. Perhaps at the beginning everything went well and now it doesn’t seem that way, and this has caused you to fall in a state of lukewarmness. Be careful! Nowadays we live in an atmosphere where wickedness increases. The subject of those who do not know the Lord is that the wickedness has multiplied, but this should not be our subject. Our faith and our love should not end because He is eternal. Many can hate us because the wickedness has multiplied. But this is not a reason for us to hide, to stop or to say that we will not take a step further. The solution is not to lock yourself in and not leave the house at night, and not even go to church; these are measures that will separate you from God. While we hold back, the love starts to fade away. We begin to distrust everyone and we get into a niche, distancing ourselves from everyone. We cannot allow our heart to become hardened. We cannot stay still because His name is forever and His love never ceases to be. The Holy Spirit has not left the earth, it is in men. The first thing the devil wants to do is to take away the love. We have to watch out for this love, that it will continue to glow. Jesus said "The love of many will grow cold". He knew it because the vanity of this world is very strong. We are in this world, but we don’t belong to this world. The church of the Lord has to be cared for. The Scriptures declare that false prophets will rise denying His return. Their major interest is to sell and produce money. They will approve that you come to the services on Sundays only and this will only contribute to make your love grow cold. Before, we were not afraid of speaking to others of Jesus, to hand out tracts. Let us not allow false doctrines to demolish us. Wickedness doesn't decrease. We are willing to battle and serve only when we love; this is the only way to move God’s hand. How long has it been that you stopped to pray for your relatives who have not converted? It is love what leads us to pray for our loved ones, and those who continue to arrive. If you stop loving and praying the earth will groan very strongly and many lives will be lost. If

you feel betrayed, cry out, but you cannot allow your love to grow cold, it is what conquers. A church that loves is a church that will conquer. Jesus conquered your life with love. When there is not love there is distrust, we live a life in failure and Jesus' name is not eternal in us. Luke 8:8 says: "Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth? For ignoring the times we lose track of time, then we are taken by surprise in moments of trial. On one occasion I heard an evangelist tell his listeners that he had discovered in the Bible that the disciples had been waiting for the Holy Spirit while sitting down, and he regretted that he had prayed on his knees for such a long time! What did he want to establish with this? He wanted to break with prayer! But let it be clear that it was THE MASTER who taught prayer! That is what He was doing when He started His ministry; He prayed and fastened for forty days. Let us not allow our love and the faith to die. The Master allowed himself to be killed for you and for me, not because He was being defeated but because He was bringing salvation for us all.
