Study: # 598 Church in the House TOPIC: “We are called to deliver the nations from the evil” Isaiah 63: 13, 14

Those who are guided by God are not to be clumsy or to stumble, because they have been chosen to walk in God’s path. God knows our justice, our face and our petitions very well. He should know that we love Jesus and that we have separated ourselves for Him. But, Heaven also knows when we decay and become paralyzed; God knows everything. We, the saints, will be the ones who will accompany Jesus in horses in His return to the earth. Revelation 19:14 Everything is well planned for us. We will come with Jesus and forever we will live with Him. We will travel throughout the earth like those who travel by horse. Zachariah 1:8 The prophet had to communicate to the town that God was going to prosper them, built the temple and restore them again. Let us thank God always for the roof we have over our heads and the place we have to worship Him. There was a need in the nation of Israel and the prophet Isaiah had seen it because God had revealed it to him. We are called to deliver a nation from evil. There is a world in complete desolation. It is time for us to move and be guided by God to be deliverers on behalf of the Lord. Nehemiah 2:12 1:2-4 The burden that God put in Nehemiah’s heart for the nation is the same one that God has put in our hearts for our nation. We have come to this world to ride a lifetime as Nehemiah did, looking and observing the needs of its dwellers. God wants to put in our heart the same feeling he put in Nehemiah’s heart. What happens is that we have lost the sensibility to feel pain, because it is the pain for our nation what will provoke us to speak, to pray and fast. And that is what God wants us to do. God wants to put his thoughts in our hearts so that we may do His will and not what we want and what has pleased us for years. There was a nation that was in bad shape, in disgrace, insulted, completely humiliated, and needed someone to rise who would be concerned and would do something on their behalf. The only way in which Nehemiah could be guided by God was through pain. The only way we can be guided by God is if there is a burden and compassion in our heart. This is something that God puts in us to guide us, but we have to allow him to do so. We must open our hearts and not close it. To be guided by God we must feel the same thing that He feels. Enough of what we want for ourselves. We have been very selfish in life and that is the way this world that surrounds us lives. It is necessary to pray, to read the Word and to fast in order to be sensitive so that Jehovah can speak to us. In prayer is where one can hear the voice of God and obtain his guidance. With our tears and fear we bring the world closer to God. This is what we’re supposed to do, his chosen ones, to be guided by God. Nehemiah 2:11, 12 Nehemiah set out to see the desolation and destruction that there was in Jerusalem. This led him to rise and motivate others to rebuild the city which they loved and was also loved by God. Let us struggle too, and ride, mourn about what is immoral; let us

look around and see the destruction and the desolation that has been caused by the enemies of justice. Let us sanctify ourselves so that no one may confuse and so that the devil cannot steal from us. In order for God to work in Jerusalem he needed a righteous man, and for God to draw men closer to Him, he needs us. It is not doing things swiftly without having the heart in what we are doing, but to have compassion and pain, and by feeling completely invaded by the same things that hurt God. That we may hurt as Nehemiah was hurting by the destruction that he saw and may the love consume us in a passion that will lead us to act. Genesis 12:1 God called Abraham. He had a plan for him and for the nation that he would raise from his loins. He has also wanted us to rise because we are his people. Ephesians 2: 12-14 It is best for us to respond to God’s calling. We must have the assurance that in the difficult day He will come out for us. But, God requests something from us and that is to give up our selfishness and leave everything behind, to follow Him according to the call that he has made to us. When God calls us we should understand that it is not comfortable or easy to fulfill his calling. His road is narrow, it is not a wide and easy road like the one we walked before; now there is a struggle and even a constant agony to comply with what God wants to do in our life. Our call is the same as Nehemiah’s. For what God wants to do he needs men and women who are willing, then, it won’t be easy. It will not be with great joy and happiness, nor will we achieve things quickly, but slowly. But, like Nehemiah, we will always have his power and his support. Exodus 3:10 As Nehemiah, God had also called Moses to send him to Egypt to deliver his people from slavery. When Moses was called he got scared and he believed that he could not fulfill God’s request. But, God tells us to go before Him in days of clamor and fasting. When praying, fasting and crying out to God it doesn't necessarily mean that we will see the Lord, but for sure we will have his guidance for everything. For God to deliver the captive with his great strength he needs us to surrender to him and willing so that his power may flow. God promises us that he will be with us forever and he will never leave us. I Kings 18:1 Another example of the calling of God to men was Elijah. In that time the earth was dry for it had not rained for three long years. Elijah was called by the Lord to pray and God would respond by sending rain to the thirsty town. But, Elijah was very afraid of his enemies. Our face says when we are afraid, hidden, in terror, in seclusion. But, it was Elijah who God called in those days, and now God is calling us in these days. Let us respond with courage. The earth is dry and it is time to come out of seclusion, of mourning, and complaining, and to see that there are needs and that there should be compassion in our lives for everything that surrounds us. God is asking us to show ourselves and do whatever is necessary. The earth is drying up because the men of God who are supposed to move His hand are scarce. Let us be the brave and courageous, let us be the sensitive ones. Amen.
