TOPIC: “I Will Sanctify Myself to Hear the Lord’s Voice For the WellBeing and Perfection of My Life” Exodus 19:16-25 God chooses His people. The more we allow God to be seen in our lives, the more we will be known as God’s people. Therefore, we are the Lord’s church. God does not speak because of a feeling He might have for someone but rather He speaks to His people because of the truth. Discouragement does not exist in God, but we do speak according to the mood we are in. Discouragement in men drives us to speak without faith. God does not become depressed or anguished because He is not mortal. He is the Almighty God. God expects us to live in sanctity in order to understand His voice and His message. It is necessary for us to live in sanctity, separated for Him because we serve a God who is three times holy. That great authority that is in God is concealed in the love He offers us and that is for the well-being of our lives. Each day God pours His life for this house, this church. Let us love the voice of God; let us sanctity ourselves so that He will always be willing to speak to us. Let us grow in height spiritually in our lives, in sanctity and in search. The church is not a burden or an annoyance, or punishment, but rather the place where God manifests Himself to bless us. God is always willing to speak to our lives. Jeremiah 10:24 In many occasions people say that God is love and not judgment, but He is both. If God’s anger rises against the world, it would be completely destroyed. We have always seen a God that has delivered us from everything, whom we should get to know and fear. Sometimes, when we become annoyed, our fear towards God leaves us. It is best to lower our head before God because many times we ignore how He works. The Kingdom of Heaven is for the meek. We must die to ourselves in order to grow in fear towards God and live in sanctity. The world is subject to much evil, but of all God will deliver us. When God speaks, He speaks for judgment or well-being, either way there will be promises. We should live in sanctification in order to understand God’s voice. When God speaks it is different from everyone else. It is not a hero who is speaking, an artist or a politician; that is why we should prepare as He is “The I Am” who speaks. God is not created; He is the “I Am”, the one who was, the one who is and the one who will be, since eternity until eternity. Therefore, our reaction should be to sanctify ourselves to hear His voice for our well-being and perfection. God’s name is clearly present upon the men of this world, but only those who always live in sanctity will have ears to listen to Him. God seeks those who are capable of sanctifying themselves to speak to and have communion. God was in the orchard with Adam and they spoke as friends. What separates the voice of God from men is sin, disobedience. God chose Adam to speak with him directly; that is why after sinning, his life was never the same. There were no sacrifices or tears that would ever bring back that communion. It is horrible when God stops speaking. When His glory is no longer there, it is to die. When God’s word is no longer there the town dies. We are the church where God always wants to be present, the problem nowadays is that there is a cloud of prosperity that covers the church and when the Word of God is ready to be spoken the work rebounds with all that new doctrine from that cloud that says “everything is well”. What God wants with us is to be able to speak to us, but, how much desire do we have? We decide. We should have the disposition of breaking those barriers that want to obstruct the voice of God.

God does not become old, He cannot wait for us. Let us respond as soon as God speaks to us. God asked Moses to instruct the town to speak to them. It was a town that had been destroyed and mocked. When Jehovah descends upon us no one can take away His word, the word teaches us and guides us. God speaks, but He needs us to be willing to listen to Him. If what God has for our lives is taken away, we will remain with our hands empty. It is good to be placed in what God has spoken to us. God wants to instruct us and to sanctify us. We have to brush off the dust of our feet. We cannot get our feet dirty as if it was normal. The Lord’s house should be cleansed in order to be sanctified to be instructed by God. Sanctification is that separation, it is to have our ears open to understand. When the heart has been replete with bitterness and deceit it is impossible to hear the voice of God. If there is something that we need to do to listen to the voice of God is that we cleanse our clothes. Who can compete with God when He speaks? When we are spoken to, let us make sure that it is God for the well-being of our soul. God tells us to sanctify ourselves. When Jehovah visits our lives that fire remains forever and there is no strength, power or sin that can separate us from God. One day we will stand before God face to face. But, for this to happen, as of now we have to present ourselves before Him so that He may speak to us and instruct us. Sometimes we worry about what others think, but what we should worry about is when we present ourselves before the living God. We are not sinners, for that reason we have to prepare ourselves to listen the voice of God and then to be in a different dimension. We do not walk as we please, but as God plans for us to guide us, for that reason He has to speak to us. To live in sanctity implies that we are to walk in agreement with God’s voice, however He wants to guide us because God called us to sanctity. When there is a resistance to hear the voice of God it is because we have not entered into sanctification. When we are separated for God and we’re able to understand this, it is because we have decided that in us there will no longer be obscenity or anything twisted. We will not gossip or complain because that will take us out of this path and God could not speak to us, and if He does, we will not be able to listen to Him. The purpose of the teaching and the sanctification is the purity before the presence of God. His presence is manifested when we love purity. No one could go impure before the presence of God because it would be a death sentence. Purification is what brings us close to God and makes us understand the voice of God. When we feel God’s presence we are moved to pity. The world wants to confuse our soul to separate us from the presence of God and convert us in deceivers. We cannot feel God’s presence when we have not sanctified ourselves. When we resist in church, our resistance is towards God who called us. To reach God we should know that we are getting deep into Him, because God will be present and we will be able to see His power in everything and we will have the fear that such power can allow us to feel. It is God who is in church; that is why He deserves reverence. We have to awaken our conscience to know what it is that we are facing. We do not go to church because of curiosity, but because the living God makes Himself present in this house. There are things that are not for us to see, God did not allow that town to climb that mountain. That town was able to see what God was showing them. It would be our fault if we face the danger for having broken the barriers or limits that God has established when we intrude where we are not allowed by God. We must be careful and know how far we are supposed to go. There are moments for making decisions and we should listen to God clearly to be wise and prudent. Amen.
