TOPIC: “It Is My Concern To Know What Is Righteous” Micah 3:1 It is a concern for believers to know what is righteous. To be righteous is not proper for human beings because men always live for themselves. It is not for men to live in justice and to walk the path of righteousness. It is a concern, a responsibility, to know which is the path to conduct ourselves. That is God’s measure, therefore, we should abide to this measure; that is His desire. Whatever justice is done on this earth will be returned by God. Sometimes, as believers, we react to favor other people’s causes and we don’t do what is right. Our problem is that we always want to look good and that is why there is not a fair measure. One cannot live in accordance with the men of this world, but rather in righteousness, according to God. God has called us to be righteous, according to what He thinks, not what we think. To be righteous we have to be willing to have God’s thoughts. The more knowledge we have of His word, the more we will get to know His mind and live in justice. It is our duty to be righteous; that is why we need to know how we should walk. We should not speak our thoughts but what concerns to the righteous. As God’s people we need to know what is fair. Sometimes, we speak according to others, but we need to see things as they are. When we do not think or live righteously, we can do a great deal of damage. We like to live at ease and relaxed without stopping to think if we can be useful. If we live like this, we will become useless instead of walking righteously. Careful! Sometimes we expect justice only for us, but this does not make us righteous. It is proper for the children to be righteous with their families, but we have to be righteous with everyone who surrounds us. A person who does not live in righteousness will never get used to supply the needs of others. God will not give us talents if we do not sympathize with the needs of others. Not knowing righteousness on earth is the reason for failure. Deuteronomy 16:20 A promise for the righteous is that they will inherit the earth. What are we supposed to do? Jehovah asks of us that we be righteous, that is why we should know what to do. Sometimes, as time goes by, some righteous are annulled. If we cannot be fair with our siblings, then how are we going to give each one what is fair? We are a kit; God puts in us the life and will to work in justice, but if we need to be driven to do things, thus we cannot help anyone. The impious know how we should act. God requests and demands from us justice. Let us be righteous and give the measure in accordance to what God wants. Psalm 82:3 Let us defend the weak. Sometimes we don’t pay attention to the weak and we live making a mockery of others. It is good to esteem all those who surround us, for that reason we devote ourselves to them, love and have compassion for them. There are only a few who give in to the weak, the orphans and the afflicted. It is righteous to give strength to the weak, comfort the afflicted and provide the needs of the orphans. It is not proper for men to stop and see the needs of others. We should all know what is righteous. Those who are given the

power to do well to others will be accountable to the one who granted that power. Those who have been granted the authority to do well along the way to the righteous should be like a father to those in need. Let us stop to see if we are doing what is fair, doing what corresponds; the time will say. There are those who cannot escape and fight by their own means, and so they need us. How can the church react in compassion for others? Where else can compassion be found if not in the men and women who can open their eyes to have compassion? This comes from the Spirit. Nothing can be claimed from those who grow weak; one must give all without expecting anything in return. . To live in a way that is righteous is better than the presumed devotion that is sometimes pretended to demonstrate. There is a measurement of justice that God asks us to do in secret, not in public. There are noble duties that are done many times in silence. The church of Jesus Christ lacks of noble duties because there are not men and women that walk doing God’s justice on earth. When one is not righteous the cruelty that is inside can be seen. It concerns us to know to execute what is righteous. Romans 13:7 Let us give each one what corresponds. If we are righteous persons, we will pay everyone we owe. The path of the righteous is to do justice always. The men who are righteous owe respect to the other people. When we have not acted in justice our failure is seen in the church. Also, when we are not capable of honoring it is because we have not lived in justice. It concerns us to be righteous men and women in everything that surrounds us. That does not make us unworthy; on the contrary, it allows others to see God manifested in our lives. After all, we decide if there is room for the Word in us, and knowing what is righteous we live doing the justice that God desires to see. Amen.
