Theme: “When My Bones Tremble Out Of Fear, I Will Cry Out To God And I Will Be Joyful At The End” Habakkuk 3: 16-19 Everything goes well for those who trust God. Since life is not easy, there is nothing better than to trust God for our own well-being. Therefore, let us not feel sorry for what we have to live and struggle for. Habakkuk, as a prophet, Jehovah revealed Himself to him; he listens to the sounds of the waves, the sea becomes violent, and thus his entire being is trembling. A man and a woman with good sense have to know that they do not live only for themselves, but that we are in a world where what happens in it should move us to cry out. The prophet felt perturbation in his body as Jehovah revealed to him what was going to happen. He suffered a big impact because of what he had seen in vision of what was happening on the earth. This led him to cry out. If Jehovah sees that on earth people plead for mercy, His hand will move. Let us be fighters in clamour day after day. Under no circumstance should we cease to pray. The prophet’s lips trembled, he was shivering. It was like decay that crept into his bones when he found out about what was coming. Let our bones shake and our entire being tremble, so thus we can cry out to God. May Jehovah see that there are men who cry out in this earth. The rottenness in the bones came because of the fear, causing him to groan. We may believe that we are safe, but when evil comes, it destroys what we want. If there is no one to cry out, intercede, and willing to have God’s revelation, then many will perish. We should know that for those who trust Jehovah, that day of fear will always end in joy and peace, but only for men who trust and rest in God. Only we can change many things. A man and a woman who trust God are the ones who can change what is announced. Let’s not become entangled in what everybody wants, but let us launch to the battle of prayer. Although a battle brings great consequences, we are here to get in the way to battle to detain or to stop any evil that may come. Palestine had three basic fruits: the fig, the grape, and the the fruit of the olive. But everything was gone, that land remained destroyed. There was great despair. When there is hunger everything turns into chaos. Everything came to an end for these people. There was nothing, it was a tragedy. In these times, and in our country, we cannot understand God’s favor in assisting the people of Israel because our suffering is limited. All that land remained devastated, with nothing left. They lost everything, everything died, there were no animals for the sacrifice. There was nothing to eat but a great crisis, not even a place to seek refuge. Nowadays, we do not like to submit ourselves to what we have to submit to, and if we are living a difficult day, instead of humbling ourselves, what we do is to seek alliances and join the rebellious, and that is not legal. Let us go to our God who is the One who can liberate us from all evilness. We have to learn to live to clearly understand that there is no one greater than God. Let us not seek alliances or consolation away from God. There weren’t any fruits or animals for the sacrifice in Palestine, but the prophet rejoiced in Jehovah and waited in the God of his salvation. The prophet owed himself to God and God to him. We owe ourselves to God and God to us. Our soul should rejoice in the God of our salvation. But many do not worship God with joy in their bad day but rather they lose confidence. The prophet did not lack confidence even when everything was sinking. Let us live in confidence because God will bring us afloat. The more difficult the situation we are living, the more we should trust. Our trust should be in God. Jehovah will come out in our favor because we are His children. Let us not fall to pieces. Whatever time we have to wait with patience, we will wait until the situation dies, but not us. We must not be cowards. Our reasoning is what makes us stumble. Our tranquility is in Jehovah. Jehovah is the God of our salvation, and that is why we must wait and trust that He will do. The prophet assumed an attitude of generosity and self-denial on the difficult day. It seemed that his bones had rotten, and that could be a reason for rebelling. But it was not like that, on the contrary, he worshipped his God. In our most cruel moment we should also be generous and self-sacrificing. We have God and He is in us, that is why there is no reason to rebel. God is an inexhaustible source at our side. Let us not forget that the human and perishable things that are at our side cannot comfort us forever. There is no other confidence that is complete and eternal in our life but Jehovah. We are God’s people, He enables us and does well for us. God enables us, so that we can come out winning of every attack that we may receive in our lives. Sometimes, as the years go by, some people grow distant from God, but the wise grow closer to the Lord. The day of deliverance will come. It is Jehovah who makes our feet as deers. These are animals that can run over the rocks at a great speed. In the same way, with the help of God, we will be able to run through the difficult path. Power is the action of the trust that comes from God, that is why we can have freshness of life. Trust is not something from earth but rather it comes from all the well-being God has done on our behalf each day. We must be firm and stable in that confidence because we give our lives to God. Let us celebrate the march for our future triumphs in the confidence that God will do. It is not that we are arrogant, but the truth is that we are superior through our faith in God, who is the Supreme. May God grant us these gifts, because each one receives according to how he disposes of his heart. If we rejoice in the day of abundance, also in the difficult day we will show abnegation and generosity and we will rejoice in God. If we lose our faith and joy in God, where will our confidence come from? We can be seated in a mountain of ruins, but let us sing and praise God and give Him all glory. There are times when we live in ruins and it is best to worship and sing to God until we wear out, understanding that the principal base of our joy is God. If we are not clever, the enemy will take away the worship and the salvation. Because instead of having worship and songs and being liberated from our chains, we lose our trust. When God is our refuge, we show that our happiness is not attached to the things of this world. We have today, and tomorrow we don’t. Our happiness is God, it is not the car that we drive. That God who reigns in the third heaven is our God here on earth. He is our strength down here to help us defeat the oppositions and difficulties in this pilgrimage. He will help us to conquer! The prophet began with fearfulness and trembling, and ended with joy. For the good soul, prayer is a relief. AMEN.
