We know that all those who have been born again in God do not continue to sin, this is a biblical truth; those who know God and His gospel of salvation do not continue in their old sins. No. Sin is not abominated little by little; sin is abominated for once and for all because it was sin that did not allow us to remain at the Father’s side. If we were already kept away from the Father once, why go back again to be away from His company and companion? It is impossible for us to want to go through this again. 2 Peter 2: 21, 22 This is our faith, this is what we believe, that if we have been born in Him we do not want to sin any longer, so that nothing worse will come upon us. John 5: 14 We can be sure of this, that those who possess the divine nature do not persist in the practice of sin, the person does not want to sin anymore. The malignant cannot touch those who have been born again; they have a new conscience and are covered with the blood of Jesus. That is the true believer, those who persevere and are preserved through the divine nature. If we live this way we remain immune to sin and to the malignant. We know that we are of God and the entire world is under the malignant. John saw that there were two spheres; first, to be in Him, that is to say in God, and secondly, to be under the power of the malignant. John sees this clearly and simple, it is not the many words or large justifications to sin; either we are or we aren’t. Pretty words are sought to justify sin, such as: "When I was small my parents taught me such and such thing…", "I was converted, I know what you are telling me…" etc. But John sees it clear, and you and I should also see it with the same clarity. People are either very saved or very lost. Here there are no half way terms. And what determines one of these two states or positions will depend on the relationship that the person has with Jesus. Which is your position before God? John 1:13 To experience the new birth in Christ is to be born again of the Spirit. There are three forms of which we cannot expect to obtain a new birth. First, it is not thru blood that we are born again. That is, it is not because we were born from Christian parents. Salvation is not transmitted from parents to children through the bloodstream. Secondly, it is not by will of the flesh. That is to say, we do not have the power or will in our flesh to produce this new birth. Our own will is not sufficient to save ourselves. Thirdly, it is not a will of men. No man can save another man. One preaches and calls for repentance, but one does not have the power to produce this marvelous birth; that spiritual capacity is only in God. The only one who can produce this new birth is God. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Upon being in Christ, you are a new creature; you are saved by the faith in your Savior. This is our new position, we are in Christ. Starting from the new birth all things shall begin new. I have already lived long enough under the flesh and the body ended lacerated from so much disorder. Now we must begin again because we have a new position before God. Now I should stand firm knowing that everything should be new, I abandon all the old things. "In Christ…all the old things

have passed and now all things are made new." The key is Christ. That is to say, that in me as a person to be perfect is not yet all certain, but the truth is that I am positioned in Christ. Therefore, now I will grow in the Christian life with my best desire of being righteous and holy for God. Then, with the help of the Holy Spirit my life in practice will correspond more and more to my new position. When Jesus returns, both things will go in perfect agreement. To be reborn by the Word of God, thus says I Peter 1:23. The seed of the Word arrived to us so that we would be born again. This is not like the natural birth where the seed that brings the life should obey the physical laws of deterioration and of death. The new birth is produced through the Word of God which remains forever, well it is eternal, and what it produces is also eternal. Upon hearing or reading the Word of God one remains convicted of his sins and convinced that Christ is our only and sufficient Savior. Then, one converts to the Lord. Everything in this world passes except the Word. The Word lives and remains forever. Although the heaven and the earth pass, the Word of God will never pass, this is established forever in Heaven. So the life that the Word produces in us is also eternal, because we have been born again by the Word; we assume the eternal character of the Word. In order for us to be cleansed forever the seed of the Word must remain in our lives forever. I John 5:1 Our birth is in God through Christ. This is the way of the divine birth, "All who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God." This is not somewhat intellectual or by inheritance, it is divine. If we have truly been born of God then we will love Him. You were born again; therefore, you love your brothers and sisters in Christ. You cannot live alone in this world, you must love others. This will show that you have converted to Christ. Have you converted? Have you been born again? If this is so, let’s rejoice. If not, then do it today and convert to Christ and you will be born again for salvation and eternal life. Amen.
