TOPIC: "Those Who Are Obedient Have The Blessing" Exodus 39:42, 40:16 When there is a divine plan for a man there has to be a direction that comes directly from God Himself. It is impossible to be guided only by human direction with someone of flesh and bone like us. Moses observed the work of the tabernacle and saw that the people had done exactly as Jehovah had asked them and blessed them on God’s behalf. As we can see He blessed them after they finished the job, not before, because the beginnings are usually easy, but to finish a big job and finish it well, is hard and difficult. It happens with us, in the beginning everything seems spectacular, but at the end it gets very hard. Many surrender and give up before finishing the job. Many think that the road is easy all the way. But it is not, because if we are not careful and make level paths and we do not heal the lame, we can be thrown off the road. Hebrews 12: 13 Moses was not able to enter the Promised Land at the end of his job because that nation provoked him to stumble in the perfect obedience that he owed God. He struck the rock instead of speaking to it. Numbers 20: 8 Then, that town murmured a great deal. Imagine, what is also done nowadays is to gossip, wasting time in that. We are not watching what we should watch and this is why the job that needs to be done. Obedience is better than anything else in life. Noah did everything God asked him to do. That was Noah. He was very careful and diligent with everything that God asked him to do. The making of the Ark was exactly as God indicated, because if he had done differently there could’ve been a lot of disgrace instead of a blessing. Noah had his faith in the word that God had given him. Every detail was an act of obedience to God’s mandate. Of course he was ridiculed for what he believed (he had faith), so his fervent desire to obey could be called by the incredulous people: Noah’s senselessness. But, Noah did everything in agreement with the instructions that God had given him. Once he began the task he did not abandon it until it was finished. This is the way he worked and the way we should work also. Many begin and do not finish. Of course that I (the pastor) am blamed of their failure, or Dan or someone else, meanwhile their disobedience holds them back and leads them to lose. Joshua 11:15 Joshua also did as Moses did. What a pity to see someone defeated and bitter for not obeying God! God had spoken to Moses on how to fight the war. Moses then, instructed Joshua according to the instructions he received from God. Joshua did it without omitting a word, just as Jehovah asked Moses. My beloved brother, of what we are asked we must not omit or add. Joshua loved Moses and this is the key to this matter. Many are short of love and that is why they do not listen or obey. They intend to have a good end in their lives when they still do not know what they were ordered to do or what is required of them. How much ignorance regarding their obligation! Luke 2:39 In those days of Jesus they had to comply with all that was written in the Law of Moses. There was a word written that Joseph and Mary obeyed. This is why we can understand the steps that Joseph followed with Jesus. Jesus had to comply with the Lord’s law. He carried the wisdom in his human soul. This way he grew. Of Jesus everything was well said and well done, while other children show at an early age the corruption of human nature. In men, since they are children, the tare of sin and the wheat of

the reason grow together. It is too bad, so many who do not have a father to guide them as Joseph did with Emanuel, God with us. There are things that we should do and that we can neglect, we must not let this happen. There are blessings for those who practice obedience. James 1:25 The law of grace, which is the perfect law, perfects the old law of Moses. Those who are diligent are not forgetful listeners. They are executors of the work and they will be blessed in their actions. I cannot make you do this or that when you are a forgetful listener. But, if you are diligent you will not be forgetful. And you will be happy in your action. When someone is forgetful because of their lack of attention they cannot be obedient in what they should do. Frequently, the oversight is the effect of the lack of attention to what God speaks. The lack of attention is product of the lack of interest. Oh God! The world and the church are full of this. When we learn something it is because we put a great deal of interest in it. If you do not show interest for something you will never do it and that makes you disobey His work. Those who comply with the Word of God not only will they be happy in what they do and for the reward they will receive by God, but they will also be happy for the freedom they will have. Oh, too bad for those who do not comply with the perfect law of the liberty in Christ! That is what God asked. As long as we obey the perfect law of God we will be blessed in everything that we do. Let us obey always and love the one who has given us life and has given us everything. Amen.
