The Blessings In Prayer

From: February 28 – March 6, 2012 TOPIC: “The Blessings In Prayer” 2 Chronicles 6:28-32

If things got so bad and there was no way to escape from them, then we can find the solution in PRAYER. Being able to talk with God is the great privilege given to those who believe in Christ as their personal savior. But for those who live a life without God everything will be misfortune and pain. Many erroneously think that when we give our lives to God He absorbs us and for that reason we cannot obtain anything more out of life. Well, you see, it is the complete opposite. The more you give in to God, the more you will obtain! Because from Him come all the many and abundant blessings prepared for those who love him. When the earth is visited by evil it is due to the distance of men from God. If there is famine in the land and there is nothing to eat it is because men have turned away from God. We know that nowadays this also happens in many countries. We do not know it in detail because we have not visited or gone on vacation to those impoverished and suffering places. But, let us understand that when there is a plague, sickness or a disease that causes high mortality, it is the result of a great curse upon the earth. Evil comes to cultivation land when there is "blight", which is a black fungus, a parasite of wheat and other cereals that damages it completely. Evil also comes when the land is full of "locusts" which is an insect whose females and larvae live as parasites in the tender sprouts of the plants, which will not allow to bear the fruit. When the world is in bankruptcy, visited by evil, when there is war in a country and shortage of everything, water, food, and no peace and the joy is gone, when illnesses arrive to the people of the town and everything becomes a great chaos, when there is nothing to do, no money and nothing to buy, because even the food has been eaten by the plagues, when there is illness and everything comes to a stop, and the days seem months ... then, MEN SHOULD ACKNOWLEDGE ALL PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION! SO, THERE SHOULD BE PRAYER FROM THE PEOPLE OF GOD! Acts 1:14 "They all joined together constantly in prayer and supplication ..." Acts 12:5 "But the church was earnestly praying to God ..." Colossians 4:2 “Devote yourselves to prayer ..." James 5:13 "Is any one of you afflicted? Pray." James 5:15" The prayer of faith shall save the sick ..." He who has affliction, his sore and pain, should know and acknowledge in his heart that the only way to remove all of this is when he lifts prayer to God with his hands high worshiping God. Prayer drowns all pain, it is the only way we are delivered from every situation, hoping with faith that God shall deliver. There are promises for those who pray: God hears the prayer of the righteous. 2 Chronicles 6: 29, 30 Prayer reaches the place of his dwelling. Note that His dwelling is in the third heaven and heaven itself can not contain God. Neither a temple built by human hands can contain him. But, if you make a prayer to your God in His temple, in the house of God, He will deliver you from all your afflictions. When men have sinned, what God wants is for him to repent so that He can give him His great forgiveness. God knows the hearts of all men, and will give to each according to his ways. Look, in our walk we have from God according to what we do. Your blessing comes from God. Everything comes from God to our lives. Sometimes we want what others have, but it cannot be this way. Only God knows the heart of the sons of men. What blessing can we have? The one that comes from God, who is the one who knows our heart. Well, we walk according to our heart. Although we can hide from men, God knows our heart and He knows our ways and will give us as we do. When we look at men on earth, if they are righteous we can see their blessings. We understand that God has seen his walk and has so blessed. But, He will afflict the wicked. We can see it in 2 Chronicles 7:1, 10. God's people were happy and joyful from the heart for God's blessings product of prayer. There was a great victory, they were under the presence of God and there were blessings. People of prayer while standing before God have a great triumph. God had given

them great benefits; they did not steal it from anyone. "So that they will fear you and walk in your ways." 2 Chronicles 6: 31 When one fears one walks in His path. If you fear God you do not do what you want, you have no rebellions, you walk in His ways and you have blessings in superabundance. You walk this way every day you’re on earth. The name of God, His great name, His mighty hand, His arm, will be in your favor if you pray to Him. Your blessing will be upon you by His mighty hand. Everyone has to see that it is God who blesses us. May everyone know that my blessing comes from a great God! Well, there is only one thing to do, PRAYER! Beloved, in the lack of prayer there are many disasters. But, from the abundance of prayer many blessings will be obtained from the Almighty; His care will be obtained and we will have great joy.
