A spiritual body

TOPIC: "A spiritual body" 1 Corinthians 15:44-50 Let us analyze what are we: Spiritual or carnal? It is difficult to lead a flock in being spiritual. Most of the time they do not understand. But it’s not only that they do not understand; they do NOT want to see or receive what they are being taught. There are very stubborn believers. They feel offended, stand up in protest, raise their eyebrows; looking defiantly and furiously. They speak angrily. While others remain silent, as if "I do not care." Let us find out what the Word says regarding this so that we may choose to be free. The animal body is sown, and a spiritual body will rise (Vs. 44). There are two kinds of bodies; an ANIMAL BODY and a SPIRITUAL BODY. First, there is the animal or natural body, and it’s programmed TO LIFE HERE ON EARTH. The second, the spiritual body, is ideal FOR LIFE IN HEAVEN. The animal body is sown, and a spiritual body rises. Even the most spiritual believer’s current body is adapted to the conditions of the present life. It is a body that responds to instincts, and mental reflexes. On the other hand, the spiritual body is adapted to the conditions of eternal life. The spiritual body expresses the spirit, and will respond to the needs of the spirit. It will be the perfect instrument for heavenly life, just as the animal body is designed for earthly life. The animal body is usually controlled by the soul, and the spiritual body will be controlled by the spirit. A spiritual body is one that will truly serve the Holy Spirit. God has always been interested in having the spirit in the position of pre-eminence or dominance. The first man: Adam, was a living soul. The last Adam (Christ): was a live spirit (which gives life, enlivens) (Vs. 45). The latter is the final one. There is no other after Him. Here again, the first man, Adam, is compared to the Lord Jesus Christ. God breathed into Adam's nostrils the breath of life, and he was made: a live being. The last Adam, who is our Savior was made: a live spirit (John 5:26 "For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son also to have life in Himself; ..."). Adam received physical life; whereas Christ gave eternal life. Adam was meant to be a living soul; a living person who could have continued to live indefinitely if he had not transgressed the divine precept of not eating from the tree of knowledge, good and evil. The last Adam was Christ. His life-giving power acts in those whose spiritual regeneration is grafted in Him, to live in Him. And because of Him, we receive an eternal life. In the order of creation; we first come into a natural life, only after that do we enter the spiritual life. The first man taken away from the earth was earthly. Your origin is from the earth. For this reason, your features are earthly and carnal. We are made of dust, such is our nature. The second Adam was the Lord from heaven (Vs. 47). He enlivens you. He gives you life; therefore you must be spiritual, and not carnal. As was the earthly, so are those who are of the earth. Of course, earthly things are born from the earth! As was the heavenly, so are those who are of heaven. (Vs. 48). If you belong to the Heavenly, you should behave like Him, because He livened you, (gave you life) and you are spiritual. Those who are born of Adam inherit his traits. Likewise, those born of Christ are heavenly people. We inherited from Adam our natural birth, but bear the image of Christ in our resurrected body (Vs. 49).

Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. Neither does corruption inherit the uncorrupted (Vs. 50). This natural body is not suitable for the celestial world; a world that is not animal-like, but completely "spiritual." To resuscitate the body must rise again. For this reason, it will have to be in a spiritual body, and not a carnal one. As a requirement for regeneration here on earth we must die each day to the flesh and the world, and obtain a spiritual body, especially for the afterlife. Because Adam was born of the flesh, he was considered a child of God. But the body needs to change to get to Heaven, and live eternally in the kingdom of God. You cannot resurrect to Heaven if your flesh is what has guided you. Let us walk as we are: spiritual. And we will resurrect in a new, spiritual body; to live eternally. Amen.
