Para conocer esta vida tenemos que amar la palabra. Mientras más capaz eres de entrar a conocer a Dios, más hay que guerrear: no es que las cosas se pongan mejor, es que tenemos que guerrear más. Hay que tener la espada bien afilada, y es el poder de la palabra; y hay que tener una vida de oración, porque es lo que nos sostiene. Nuestro Creador habla: habla por las Escrituras, habla por el Espíritu Santo, habla por las circunstancias y habla en el silencio. Dios no es silencioso, y eso es lo hermoso de Él.
I.Somos guerreros, no personas comunes.
AA. La conquista supone una guerra.
1.
Cuando uno busca al Señor cada vez más, tiene que hacer el reto de entrar en las áreas espirituales.
2.
Y mientras más capaz eres de conocer a Dios, más hay que guerrear; no es una derrota, pero hay que tener más fuerza cada día.
3.
Si nos quedamos como niños, nunca vamos a aprender a luchar todo lo que hay que luchar.
4.
Si perdemos la vida en tonterías, se nos olvida que tiene que haber justos en la tierra que la libren de tanto mal.
5.
Uno piensa que según pasan los años las cosas se aquietan; y es al revés: mientras más años pasan, más tenemos que luchar.
BB. La espada afilada y la vida de oración.
1.
Hay que tener la espada bien afilada, y es el poder de la palabra.
2.
Y hay que tener una vida de oración, porque es lo que nos sostiene cuando hablamos con Dios.
3.
Para poder enfrentar todo lo que está alrededor para destruirnos, devastarnos o quitarnos el ánimo.
4.
El reino de las tinieblas está en cada esquina, y no hay lugar que más le guste apuntar que a los justos que aman al Señor.
CC. El ejemplo de David.
1.
Me imagino el cuerpo de David, cuántas heridas tendría.
2.
Se dice que murió alrededor de los setenta años porque su cuerpo había padecido tantas guerras y tantas batallas.
3.
De tanta guerra y de tanta espada en la mano se le acabó el físico; fue un hombre guerrero.
4.
La iglesia no es lo que pensamos: la gente la ve con miedo porque es cobarde y no sabe pelear, y esta batalla es solamente de valientes.
II.Dios no es silencioso.
AA. El Creador habla de muchas maneras.
1.
Dios habla a través de las Escrituras y habla a nuestra vida por medio del Espíritu Santo.
2.
Dios se nos revela en sueños; a veces tenemos un sentir fuerte que sabemos que no es impulso de uno.
3.
El Creador es el que salva, el que corrige, el que consuela, el que guía y el que se revela a nuestra vida.
BB. A Dios le fascina revelarse.
1.
Pensamos que venimos a la iglesia por venir o por compromiso; pero el privilegio es nuestro.
2.
Él busca tener una relación contigo, personal, con todo cuidado y con toda perfección, porque a cada uno Dios lo trabaja tal cual es.
3.
El asunto es de qué está llena tu vida: ¿de coraje, de molestia, de maldad?
4.
Porque lo que hoy te llena, mañana no sabes; lo que hoy te produce contentura, mañana no lo hará.
5.
A Dios le interesa ser nuestro consuelo y le interesa corregirnos, porque hoy pensamos que todo es de un modo y mañana de otro.
CC. No podemos darnos el lujo de perder días.
1.
Si el ministro pierde días de su vida, afecta al pueblo.
2.
Vivir veinticuatro horas buscando la voz de Dios y qué quiere Dios es un privilegio.
3.
Las grandes recompensas están en el cielo, donde no habrá lágrimas ni dolor; las de aquí te alegran hoy y mañana ya no.
4.
Mientras el pueblo duerme tranquilo, el ministro está en plena guerra, no con los ángeles, sino contra las potestades que quieren destruir la obra de Dios.
5.
El día en que tengas a Dios en primer lugar de tu corazón, ese día serás bienaventurado.
6.
Todo lo que tienes como grande un día lo perderás; a Él nunca lo perderás, y cuando más lo necesites estará contigo.
DD. Cómo nos habla Dios.
1.
El sistema más espectacular es la Biblia: leer las Escrituras todos los días.
2.
Dios siempre está dispuesto a hablarnos; no siempre es con voz audible, pero siempre es claro para el corazón dispuesto.
3.
Si vienes a la iglesia con el corazón dispuesto, Dios te habla; si entras como entras y te vas, no hay crecimiento.
4.
El que recoge la palabra tiene un crecimiento, y eso se nota: sale por los poros, en el rostro, en la mirada, en el suspirar.
III.Más cortante que toda espada de dos filos (Hebreos 4:12).
AA. Penetra hasta partir el alma y el espíritu.
1.
Ese es el poder de la espada cuando Dios habla: entra en tu alma y la parte.
2.
Cuando esa voz llega a tus oídos, ha de partir tu alma y tu espíritu.
3.
Dios no trabaja con nosotros suavecito: Dios va con fuerza.
4.
Y mientras más tú lo buscas, con más fuerza Dios va a trabajar con tu vida.
5.
Va a llegar un momento en que la atmósfera de tu existencia ya no sea la de esta tierra, sino la de amar a Dios con más fuerza y más poder.
BB. Discierne los pensamientos y las intenciones del corazón.
1.
Discernir es separar lo bueno de lo malo, lo correcto de lo incorrecto.
2.
Dios no discierne lo que aparentamos con lo que hablamos, con una sonrisa o con una mirada.
3.
Nosotros podemos montar teatro día tras día, según la circunstancia o según la persona; pero eso es vivir una vida al aire.
4.
Dios sabe lo que en ti es verdadero y lo que es falso.
5.
Distinguir lo verdadero de lo falso es ver lo que está oculto detrás de las palabras y de las acciones.
6.
La palabra no solo mira lo que hacemos, sino por qué lo hacemos: todo lo que se hace es porque se quiere hacer.
CC. Las intenciones hablan de nuestra vida.
1.
En el cielo hay moradas; Jesús dijo: voy a preparar morada para ustedes.
2.
Porque Dios sabe quién va a ser capaz de oír siempre la palabra y de ir acomodándose y apretándose.
3.
Al fin y al cabo, los que nos tenemos que apretar somos nosotros.
4.
En la tierra, vanidad de vanidades: aquí no hay nada que te vaya a recompensar.
5.
Hay conversaciones muy acomodadas; después que uno termina, todo lo que fue acomodado le sale por los poros.
IV.La palabra de Dios es viva y eficaz.
AA. Es viva.
1.
La palabra no es letra muerta: tiene poder para actuar y sigue hablando hoy.
2.
Este sagrado libro es palabra viva; no es la vida, porque la vida es Dios.
3.
Cómo nos consuela, cómo nos alienta, cómo nos da fuerza; a veces toca leer justamente lo que necesita el alma.
4.
No amanezcas para saber cosas ni para el chisme: que tu amanecer sea ir primero de rodillas a Dios, porque el tiempo no se puede perder.
5.
Como es viva, produce un efecto real: te transforma, te guía, te despierta.
BB. Es eficaz.
1.
Es efectiva, capaz de hacer lo que necesitamos, aun en cosas que no has podido cambiar ni superar.
2.
Ser fiel al cónyuge, ser fiel a la iglesia, ser fiel al vecino: palabra fiel.
3.
Cuando tus ojos miran, llega al cerebro; del cerebro al corazón; y el corazón lo riega por todo, desde la cabeza hasta la punta del pie.
4.
¿Y de dónde viene la palabra, si no del Creador que habla, del que nos hizo y nos plantó en la tierra en estos tiempos?
CC. Penetra sin engaño y sin apariencia.
1.
Llega donde nadie más puede llegar, porque es más cortante que espada de dos filos.
2.
Cuando lees la Biblia sientes que entra, penetra y va desgarrando tu corazón.
3.
Y si algo necesitamos es que Dios desgarre nuestro corazón, porque donde se oculta todo es en el corazón, y es fácil esconder las cosas.
DD. El Espíritu Santo discierne lo que pensamos.
1.
No vuelvas a decir "yo no quise decir eso": lo que tienes que decir es "perdona lo que dije".
2.
Porque entonces el Padre ve que en uno hay humillación, y el Padre tiene que ver nuestra humillación.
3.
El acusador dirá: mira lo que hizo, si le has dado vida eterna y salvación.
4.
Y Jesús, a la diestra, dice: Padre, yo morí por él, mi sangre está ahí, perdónalo.
5.
Por medio de Cristo que intercede constantemente, nosotros tenemos que ser hombres y mujeres de oración.
6.
Vivimos en la tierra bajo un juicio, y lo libramos buscando a Dios, congregándonos, orando y leyendo la palabra; porque tú no luchas contra otra persona, luchas contra ti mismo.
V.Lámpara es a mis pies tu palabra, y lumbrera a mi camino (Salmo 119:105).
AA. Lámpara es a mis pies.
1.
La palabra nos ilumina paso a paso, en lo cercano y en lo diario.
2.
Si abrieras la palabra, serías un conocedor; somos niños cuando ya deberíamos ser maestros.
BB. Y lumbrera a mi camino.
1.
También ilumina el rumbo completo, el propósito y la dirección de tu vida.
2.
Tú necesitas saber si lo que estás haciendo está bien o está mal; si la lees, vas a saber qué hacer con tu vida.
3.
Muchas veces lo que tenemos en la boca es lamento y queja.
4.
Si decidimos tener oración y palabra, el día malo la oración nos cubre, porque nos fortalece.
5.
No hay que hablar con alguien para contar lo que a uno le pasa: vaya donde Dios, que es el mejor lugar; cada cual tiene bastante con lo suyo.
6.
Si estás ausente de palabra y ausente de oración, todo lo que venga a la vida vendrá como un embate para llevarte.
CC. Conquistar con la palabra.
1.
Estamos resolviendo bobadas; lo que hay que aprender es a llevarle a Dios toda la oración y a ser sabios por medio de las Escrituras.
2.
Porque tú hablas conforme a tu corazón y conforme a lo vulnerable que estás.
3.
¿Quieres conquistar tu familia? Conquístala con la palabra.
4.
En una casa donde cada noche se lee la Biblia en familia, los hijos se van haciendo discípulos.
5.
No es discutir el versículo: es dejarlo ver, ponerlo claro; y eso lleva a los que por naturaleza tendrían otro carácter a ser dóciles y mansos.
VI.El Espíritu de verdad os guiará a toda la verdad (Juan 16:13).
AA. Para que el Espíritu Santo te hable, tienes que ser persona de oración.
1.
Si tú estás en pecado, no pienses que el Espíritu Santo está en ti: no puede estar.
2.
Cristo dio su sangre y el Padre dio la orden; pero el Espíritu Santo viene a ti para hacer toda la obra que el Padre quiere para tu vida.
3.
Si uno es capaz de ensuciar este cuerpo, el Espíritu Santo no está: por eso no hay nada que te redarguya, no hay revelación y no te interesa orar.
4.
Porque quien pone el querer como el hacer, el que lleva nuestras vidas, es el Espíritu Santo.
BB. Él os guiará a toda la verdad.
1.
Si no se te hace fácil ir a toda verdad, es porque el Espíritu Santo no está, y por eso vas de golpe en golpe.
2.
Tocar al Espíritu Santo con una palabra: mejor es no haber nacido. Es el único pecado que no se perdona, que es blasfemar.
3.
Cristo promete que el Espíritu Santo vendrá y que Él es el que hará.
4.
Mientras más Él trabaja en tu vida, más te va perfeccionando, quitando y haciéndote fuerza.
5.
Él nos dirige para entender correctamente la palabra y la voluntad de Dios.
CC. No hablará por su propia cuenta.
1.
El Espíritu Santo está en completa unidad con el Padre y con el Hijo.
2.
El Padre da la instrucción, el Hijo se une al mismo sentir, y la acción va en el Espíritu Santo.
3.
Los tres son uno: es la Deidad.
4.
El Hijo, a la diestra, intercede por nosotros; el Espíritu Santo está sobre la tierra, trabajando en el creyente lavado con la sangre de Cristo.
5.
Porque la manifestación es cuando el Espíritu Santo ve la sangre de Cristo sobre tu cabeza.
6.
Leamos la palabra y ella nos da la luz; luego oramos, y entonces el Espíritu Santo nos revela y pone en nuestra vida el querer del Padre.
VII.El corazón del hombre piensa su camino; mas Jehová endereza sus pasos (Proverbios 16:9).
AA. El corazón del hombre piensa su camino.
1.
Todos hacemos planes, decisiones, metas y rutas; es natural planificar, es propio.
2.
Pero nosotros podemos ser bien diestros para hacer lo que queremos, lo que pretendemos y lo que ambicionamos.
BB. Mas Jehová endereza sus pasos.
1.
Dios es el que abre y cierra puertas, cuando tú decides que Dios sea el que vaya llevando tu vida.
2.
Hay puertas que Dios no debe abrir porque es peligroso, y te las cierra; no la fuerces.
3.
Porque cuando esa puerta se abra, primero, Dios no está; y segundo, vas a tener que padecer.
4.
Si Dios te cierra puertas, es para que no sufras, porque no vas a poder aguantar.
5.
Y si te abre puertas, podrás pasar las pruebas, pero vas de la mano con Él.
6.
Deja que Dios sea el que abra y cierre; así te convertirás en un hombre o una mujer de oración y de búsqueda.
CC. Él se mueve alrededor de nosotros.
1.
Piensas que estás solo; si tú buscas a Dios y lo has amado, Él está ahí contigo.
2.
Te toca llorar, Él va a estar; te toca dolerte, Él te alivia.
3.
Si Dios es mi Creador, Él sabe de dónde viene mi necesidad, lo que me duele y lo que me entristece.
4.
Y sabe que me va a tener que cubrir más porque la lucha va a ser más fuerte.
DD. Las circunstancias no gobiernan la vida del creyente.
1.
La vida es una guerra: hoy oyes buenas noticias y mañana malas; hoy parecía que lo habías conquistado todo y mañana se fue al piso.
2.
¿Decírselo a alguien? No, porque le vas a producir a otro grandes dolores; entonces uno carga, uno lleva y uno se enfrenta a la vida.
3.
Lo que aquí no entendemos, lo entenderemos cuando lleguemos al cielo.
4.
A veces no te has dado cuenta de que estás rodeado de una circunstancia, porque la ves natural; pero llega el tiempo en que se acentúa y te ahoga.
5.
Las circunstancias pueden ser salud o enfermedad, prosperidad o necesidad, paz o conflicto, trabajo seguro o incertidumbre, gozo o prueba.
6.
Lo importante no son las circunstancias, sino quién dirige nuestro camino: nosotros vemos lo que está pasando, y Él ve hacia dónde nos lleva.
VIII.Y tras el fuego un silbo apacible y delicado (1 Reyes 19:12).
AA. Dios habla en el silencio.
1.
No en el ruido de la vida del momento, sino en la quietud del alma.
2.
Eso es lo grande de Dios: que Él conoce nuestra alma.
3.
¿Por qué te abates, oh alma mía, y por qué te turbas dentro de mí? Espera en Dios, porque aún he de alabarle.
4.
Cuando tu casa está en calma y tu corazón se humilla, Él te habla.
BB. Elías necesitaba escuchar a Dios en la quietud.
1.
Estaba cansado, desanimado, huyendo, sintiendo que todo estaba perdido.
2.
Había visto milagros grandes, como el fuego del cielo en el monte Carmelo.
3.
Dios no siempre habla en lo espectacular, en lo fuerte, en lo que impresiona.
4.
No estaba en el viento, ni en el terremoto, ni en el fuego, sino en un silbo apacible y delicado.
5.
Una voz suave, tranquila, íntima y clara, que le hablaba al corazón.
CC. Cuando las circunstancias gritan, Dios habla en voz baja.
1.
Con su voz suave calma nuestra fatiga.
2.
Y no habla bajo porque esté lejos, sino porque está cerca.
3.
Si estás hablando con alguien que está a tu lado, no tienes que gritar; pues Dios está en todos los sitios.
4.
No busques a Dios en los estruendos: busca el silencio donde Él susurra.
5.
Es fácil ir a Dios cuando uno está en grito, con quejas, rebelde; pero cuando hay un espíritu noble que te sustenta, hablas con Dios en susurro.
6.
El milagro no es que Dios hable fuerte, sino que tú puedas hacer silencio para escucharlo. Porque si Él viniera en fuego y en llama, moriríamos todos.

The Creator Speaks
Hebrews 4:12
Introduction
To know this life we must love the word. The more able you are to come to know God, the more you must do battle: it is not that things get easier, it is that we must fight more. The sword must be kept sharp, and it is the power of the word; and one must have a life of prayer, because that is what sustains us. Our Creator speaks: He speaks through the Scriptures, He speaks by the Holy Spirit, He speaks through circumstances and He speaks in the silence. God is not silent, and that is the beautiful thing about Him.
I.We are warriors, not common people.
AA. Conquest implies a war.
1.
When one seeks the Lord more and more, he must take up the challenge of entering the spiritual areas.
2.
And the more able you are to know God, the more you must do battle; it is not a defeat, but more strength is needed every day.
3.
If we stay as children, we will never learn to fight all that must be fought.
4.
If we waste life on trifles, we forget that there must be righteous men on the earth who deliver it from so much evil.
5.
We think that as the years pass things quiet down; it is the reverse: the more years pass, the more we must fight.
BB. The sharpened sword and the life of prayer.
1.
The sword must be kept well sharpened, and it is the power of the word.
2.
And one must have a life of prayer, because that is what sustains us when we speak with God.
3.
So as to face everything around us that would destroy us, lay us waste, or take away our courage.
4.
The kingdom of darkness is at every corner, and there is no target it likes better than the righteous who love the Lord.
CC. The example of David.
1.
I imagine the body of David, how many wounds it must have had.
2.
It is said he died at about seventy because his body had endured so many wars and so many battles.
3.
So much war and so much sword in hand wore out the flesh; he was a fighting man.
4.
The church is not what we think: people look at it with fear because they are cowards and do not know how to fight, and this battle is only for the brave.
II.God is not silent.
AA. The Creator speaks in many ways.
1.
God speaks through the Scriptures and speaks to our life by the Holy Spirit.
2.
God reveals Himself to us in dreams; sometimes we have a strong sense that we know is not our own impulse.
3.
The Creator is the one who saves, who corrects, who comforts, who guides and who reveals Himself to our life.
BB. God delights to reveal Himself.
1.
We think we come to church merely to come, or out of obligation; but the privilege is ours.
2.
He seeks a relationship with you, personal, with every care and every perfection, for God works each one exactly as he is.
3.
The question is what your life is full of: anger, vexation, wickedness?
4.
For what fills you today, tomorrow you do not know; what gives you contentment today will not do so tomorrow.
5.
God cares to be our comfort and cares to correct us, for today we think a thing is one way and tomorrow another.
CC. We cannot afford to lose days.
1.
If the minister loses days of his life, it affects the people.
2.
To live twenty-four hours seeking the voice of God and what God wants is a privilege.
3.
The great rewards are in heaven, where there will be no tears nor pain; those here gladden you today and no longer tomorrow.
4.
While the people sleep quietly, the minister is in full war, not with angels, but against the powers that want to destroy the work of God.
5.
The day you have God in the first place of your heart, that day you will be blessed.
6.
Everything you hold great you will one day lose; Him you will never lose, and when you need Him most He will be with you.
DD. How God speaks to us.
1.
The most spectacular means is the Bible: read the Scriptures every day.
2.
God is always ready to speak to us; it is not always with an audible voice, but it is always clear to the heart that is willing.
3.
If you come to church with a willing heart, God speaks to you; if you come in as you came and leave, there is no growth.
4.
He who gathers the word grows, and it shows: it comes out through the pores, in the face, in the look, in the sighing.
III.Sharper than any twoedged sword (Hebrews 4:12).
AA. Piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit.
1.
That is the power of the sword when God speaks: it enters your soul and divides it.
2.
When that voice reaches your ears, it must divide your soul and your spirit.
3.
God does not work with us gently: God goes with force.
4.
And the more you seek Him, the more forcefully God will work with your life.
5.
A moment will come when the air of your existence is no longer that of this earth, but that of loving God with more strength and more power.
BB. A discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
1.
To discern is to separate good from evil, right from wrong.
2.
God does not discern what we put on with our talk, with a smile or with a look.
3.
We can play a part day after day, according to the circumstance or according to the person; but that is living a life on the surface.
4.
God knows what in you is true and what is false.
5.
To tell the true from the false is to see what is hidden behind the words and the actions.
6.
The word does not only look at what we do, but at why we do it: everything done is done because it is wanted.
CC. The intents speak of our life.
1.
In heaven there are mansions; Jesus said: I go to prepare a place for you.
2.
For God knows who will always be able to hear the word and keep adjusting and tightening.
3.
In the end, the ones who must tighten are ourselves.
4.
On earth, vanity of vanities: here there is nothing that will reward you.
5.
There are conversations carefully arranged; and afterward everything that was arranged comes out through one's pores.
IV.The word of God is quick and powerful.
AA. It is living.
1.
The word is not a dead letter: it has power to act and still speaks today.
2.
This sacred book is living word; it is not the life, for the life is God.
3.
How it comforts us, how it encourages us, how it gives us strength; sometimes we happen to read exactly what our soul needs.
4.
Do not wake for gossip or for knowing things: let your waking be to go first on your knees to God, for time cannot be lost.
5.
Because it is living, it produces a real effect: it transforms you, it guides you, it wakes you.
BB. It is powerful.
1.
It is effective, able to do what we need, even in things you have not been able to change or overcome.
2.
To be faithful to your spouse, faithful to the church, faithful to your neighbour: a faithful word.
3.
When your eyes look, it reaches the brain; from the brain, the heart; and the heart pumps it through the whole body.
4.
And where does the word come from, if not from the Creator who speaks, who made us and planted us on the earth in these times?
CC. It pierces without deceit and without appearance.
1.
It reaches where no one else can reach, because it is sharper than a twoedged sword.
2.
When you read the Bible you feel it enter and pierce, and go on tearing your heart open.
3.
And if we need anything, it is that God tear our heart open, because where everything is hidden is the heart, and it is easy to hide things.
DD. The Holy Spirit discerns what we think.
1.
Do not say again "that is not what I meant": what you must say is "forgive what I said."
2.
For then the Father sees that there is humbling in you, and the Father must see our humbling.
3.
The accuser will say: look at what he did, though you have given him eternal life and salvation.
4.
And Jesus, at the right hand, says: Father, I died for him, my blood is there, forgive him.
5.
Through Christ who intercedes continually, we must be men and women of prayer.
6.
We live on earth under a judgment, and we escape it by seeking God, gathering, praying and reading the word; for you do not fight another person, you fight yourself.
V.Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path (Psalm 119:105).
AA. A lamp unto my feet.
1.
The word lights us step by step, in what is near and in the daily round.
2.
If you opened the word, you would be one who knows; we are children when we ought already to be teachers.
BB. And a light unto my path.
1.
It also lights the whole course, the purpose and the direction of your life.
2.
You need to know whether what you are doing is right or wrong; if you read it, you will know what to do with your life.
3.
Many times all we have in our mouth is lament and complaint.
4.
If we decide to have prayer and the word, on the evil day prayer covers us, because it strengthens us.
5.
You need not talk to someone to tell what is happening to you: go to God, who is the best place; everyone has enough of his own.
6.
If you are without the word and without prayer, everything that comes will come as a blow, to carry you away.
CC. Conquering with the word.
1.
We are busy settling trifles; what we must learn is to bring God all our prayer and to be wise through the Scriptures.
2.
For you speak according to your heart and according to how vulnerable you are.
3.
Do you want to win your family? Win them with the word.
4.
In a house where the Bible is read together every night, the children become disciples.
5.
It is not arguing the verse: it is making it plain; and that leads those who by nature would have another temper to become gentle and meek.
VI.When the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth (John 16:13).
AA. For the Holy Spirit to speak to you, you must be a person of prayer.
1.
If you are in sin, do not think the Holy Spirit is in you: He cannot be.
2.
Christ gave His blood and the Father gave the order; but the Holy Spirit comes to you to do all the work the Father wants for your life.
3.
If one is able to defile this body, the Holy Spirit is not there: that is why nothing reproves you, there is no revelation and you have no interest in praying.
4.
For the one who works both to will and to do, who carries our lives, is the Holy Spirit.
BB. He will guide you into all truth.
1.
If it is not easy for you to come to all truth, it is because the Holy Spirit is not there, and so you go from blow to blow.
2.
To touch the Holy Spirit with a word: it were better not to have been born. It is the one sin that is not forgiven, which is blasphemy.
3.
Christ promises that the Holy Spirit will come and that He is the one who will act.
4.
The more He works in your life, the more He perfects you, takes away and makes you strong.

He directs us to understand rightly the word and the will of God.
CC. He shall not speak of himself.

The Holy Spirit is in complete unity with the Father and with the Son.
2.
The Father gives the instruction, the Son joins in the same mind, and the action goes in the Holy Spirit.
3.
The three are one: it is the Godhead.
4.
The Son, at the right hand, intercedes for us; the Holy Spirit is upon the earth, working in the believer washed in the blood of Christ.
5.
For the manifestation is when the Holy Spirit sees the blood of Christ upon your head.
6.
Let us read the word and it gives us light; then we pray, and then the Holy Spirit reveals and sets in our life the will of the Father.
VII.A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps (Proverbs 16:9).
AA. A man's heart deviseth his way.
1.
We all make plans, decisions, goals and routes; it is natural to plan, it is proper.
2.
But we can be very skilful at doing what we want, what we intend and what we covet.
BB. But the LORD directeth his steps.
1.
God is the one who opens and shuts doors, when you decide that God should carry your life.
2.
There are doors God should not open because it is dangerous, and He shuts them; do not force them.
3.
For when that door opens, first, God is not there; and second, you will have to suffer.
4.
If God shuts doors to you, it is so you do not suffer, because you would not be able to bear it.
5.
And if He opens doors, you will be able to pass the tests, but you go by His hand.
6.
Let God be the one who opens and shuts; so you will become a man or a woman of prayer and of seeking.
CC. He moves about us.
1.
You think you are alone; if you seek God and have loved Him, He is there with you.
2.
When it falls to you to weep, He will be there; when it falls to you to ache, He eases it.
3.
If God is my Creator, He knows where my need comes from, what pains me and what saddens me.
4.
And He knows He will have to cover me more, because the struggle will be harder.
DD. Circumstances do not govern the believer's life.
1.
Life is a war: today you hear good news and tomorrow bad; today it seemed you had conquered everything and tomorrow it fell to the floor.
2.
Tell someone? No, because you would cause another great pain; so one carries it, one bears it and one faces life.
3.
What we do not understand here, we will understand when we reach heaven.
4.
Sometimes you have not noticed that you are surrounded by a circumstance, because it looks natural; but there comes a time when it sharpens and chokes you.
5.
Circumstances may be health or sickness, prosperity or need, peace or conflict, secure work or uncertainty, joy or trial.
6.
What matters is not the circumstances, but who directs our way: we see what is happening, and He sees where He is taking us.
VIII.And after the fire a still small voice (1 Kings 19:12).
AA. God speaks in the silence.
1.
Not in the noise of the moment, but in the stillness of the soul.
2.
That is the greatness of God: that He knows our soul.
3.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God, for I shall yet praise him.
4.
When your house is calm and your heart humbles itself, He speaks to you.
BB. Elijah needed to hear God in the stillness.
1.
He was weary, discouraged, fleeing, feeling that all was lost.
2.
He had seen great miracles, like the fire from heaven on Mount Carmel.
3.
God does not always speak in the spectacular, in the loud, in what impresses.
4.
He was not in the wind, nor in the earthquake, nor in the fire, but in a still small voice.
5.
A soft, quiet, intimate, clear voice, speaking to the heart.
CC. When circumstances shout, God speaks low.
1.
With His soft voice He calms our weariness.
2.
And He does not speak low because He is far off, but because He is near.
3.
If you are speaking with someone beside you, you need not shout; and God is in every place.
4.
Do not look for God in the uproar: look for the silence where He whispers.
5.
It is easy to go to God when one is shouting, complaining, rebellious; but when a noble spirit upholds you, you speak with God in a whisper.
6.
The miracle is not that God speaks loudly, but that you can be silent enough to hear Him. For if He came in fire and flame, we would all die.

Para conocer esta vida tenemos que amar la palabra. Mientras más conoces a Dios, más hay que guerrear; hay que tener la espada bien afilada, que es la palabra, y una vida de oración. Dios no es silencioso: nuestro Creador habla. Estos son los puntos del domingo, para llevarlos toda la semana.
No somos personas comunes: somos guerreros. Uno piensa que con los años las cosas se aquietan, y es al revés. Las tinieblas están en cada esquina, y esta batalla es de valientes.
Dios habla por las Escrituras, por el Espíritu Santo, por las circunstancias y en el silencio; no siempre con voz audible, pero siempre claro para el corazón dispuesto. Quien recoge la palabra crece.
Es más cortante que espada de dos filos: entra en el alma y la parte; Dios no trabaja suavecito. Y discierne las intenciones: podemos montar teatro, pero Dios sabe qué es verdadero y qué es falso.
Es viva y eficaz: no es letra muerta, transforma y hace lo que no has podido cambiar. No digas «yo no quise decir eso»; di «perdona lo que dije»: el Padre tiene que ver tu humillación.
Lámpara a los pies y lumbrera al camino: ilumina lo de hoy y el rumbo entero. ¿Quieres conquistar tu familia? Conquístala con la palabra: donde cada noche se lee la Biblia, los hijos se hacen discípulos.
Si estás en pecado, el Espíritu Santo no está en ti: por eso nada te redarguye ni te interesa orar. Dios habla por las circunstancias: si te cierra una puerta, no la fuerces; es para que no sufras.
Y habla en el silencio, como a Elías: no en el viento ni en el fuego, sino en un silbo apacible. No habla bajo porque esté lejos, sino porque está cerca. El milagro es hacer silencio para oírlo.
Para esta semana
Que tu amanecer sea ir primero de rodillas a Dios y abrir la Biblia, antes del chisme y de saber cosas. Palabra y oración, todos los días.

Así lo dice la Biblia. En palabras sencillas: la palabra de Dios está viva, corta como una espada de dos filos y llega hasta lo más hondo: sabe lo que piensas y por qué haces las cosas. La pastora dijo que esa espada es la Biblia.
1Los que aman a Dios no son gente común: son guerreros. Y un guerrero necesita la espada bien afilada, que es la Biblia, y hablar con Dios cada día.
2Dios no se queda callado. Te habla cuando lees la Biblia, por el Espíritu Santo, por lo que pasa a tu alrededor y hasta en el silencio; pero al corazón dispuesto.
3La Biblia es como una espada que llega al corazón. Puedes sonreír y hacer teatro, pero Dios ve lo de adentro y sabe por qué haces las cosas.
4Cuando dices algo feo, no digas «yo no quise decir eso». Di «perdóname por lo que dije». Dios quiere ver un corazón humilde.
5La palabra es una lámpara para tus pies: te enseña el camino paso a paso. Donde cada noche se lee la Biblia, los hijos se van haciendo discípulos.
6Elías buscaba a Dios en el viento, el terremoto y el fuego, pero Dios le habló con un silbo suave. Habla bajito porque está cerca; para oírlo hay que hacer silencio.

¿Cómo te habla Dios a ti?
Esta semana, antes de dormir, lean un versículo y hagan un minuto de silencio. Escoge eso —una sola cosa— y hazlo todos los días hasta el próximo domingo.
